I wouldn't say I was scared of it, but my mind definitely got messed up watching a cartoon called "Light Years", also known as Gandahar. I was around 6 at the time and all I wanted was to rent a cartoon, had no idea what I was about to watch. I'm totally convinced all the less-than-the-norm interests I have are all due to that one animated film I watched when I was little. Here's a link you can see on Youtube, I recommend checking it out:

The same creators also made another one called "Fantasic Planet", which I didn't get to see until a few years back. This one is actually way more messed up, I'm glad I didn't see this one when I was a kid :)

Signs. No other movie freaked me out aside from that.

If TV specials count, then those UFO/Grey shows were ____ed me up good.

never really got scared from movies...first one ever to really freak me out was the Sixth Sense...saw it with friends when it came out 1am showing...not smart..creeped us all out.

l remember being scared of freddy. l was a kid in like grade 3 and l was in the basement watching the one were freddy was in the kids water bed, then breaks threw the water bed and stabbed him. then a little bit l went to bed. then l realized my bed was also a water bed and l was scared ____less thinking freddy was in my bed. did not sleep good that night.

I loved Freddy since I was 8. I was him for Halloween twice. I've only had ONE Freddy dream, and we kicked it. He didnt come after me or nothing. We joked around and then I woke up.

The Omen II really got to me as a kid. Saw it at the drive in when I was around 7 or 8.

Halloween for sure.

Poltergeist, sometimes. Especially the damn clown.

And for some very strange reason, The Grinch! But that was very young.

Jaws
When the head popped out of the boat it scared the hell out of me.

My Father put on American Werewolf in London in the VCR when I was 12/13. I got up to the dreams sequences, and then run upstairs as I could take no more. I remember my father saying "stop being a sissy".

Totally going to date myself on this, but Leprechaun. I remember waking up from a nap when I was 2 or 3 and my family was watching it, freaked me out. Apperently it was even around St. Patricks Day and I freaked out at all the decorations around and some sort of garden gnome my mom had. I even apperently hit it with a stick a few times.

I've since tried to watch Leprechaun again, but it still makes me want to sleep with a knife at night. Which is odd, since now I want to own a little person.

American Werewolf in Paris used to give me the goosebumps too. Though now I love werewolf movies and own real silver bullets (don't ask). Kind of odd how something as a kid used to scare you to death, but now you love it.

Also, though not horror, the rancor in ROTJ used to scare the living heck out of me.

Ah! I just remembered this which scared me when I was very young

Actually watching now still creeps me out a little :lol

Lifeforce is the first one for me. Think it was the age that I watched it at but it creeped me out when I initially saw it.

Runner up would be Nightmare on Elm St., the first one. Again, probably the age that I saw it but the scene in the school with the body bag etc....yeah that got to me.

Lifeforce?
That was a bit Nudy Rudy for a kid to be watching.
You must have been scared yet strangely aroused at the same time?

Friday the 13th, Part 1. I was in the 4th grade at a sleepover birthday party. The bigger sisters of my friend decided to play Friday the 13th for us. It was the edited for TV version. I was scared stiff throughout the entire movie, but the scene that got me the most was when Kevin Bacon bit the dust.

I had nightmares for 3 straight months after that. Seriously.

Any horror movie with a good mirror scene in it. Youre always looking in a bathroom mirror, always alone when you do it, and mirrors were always kind of creepy anyway.

Also the naked chick in the shining.
