Yeah, but it's essentially still a T600, which makes ongoing appearances throughout the film.
I guess I could liken this Whiplash situation to Cop Joker from TDK. I have one as a part of the DX Joker package, but on it's own I'd never buy it. Granted, we don't know if that'll be the case for Whiplash, but if the trailer's are any indication, I don't think that get-up will be the only one for this character.
...Or perhaps it's more akin to the Bank Robber Joker figure? Well, I bought that one.
Yes but not looking like the HT weathered T600, actually even though I bought the EX version I prefer the full mask so thats how I have mine displayed, and technically that doesnt appear at all in the finished film!
From another point of view though, I also have the DX cop Joker and I still havent bought a TT for it because its just a little dull as a figure. Yeah the sculpt is unbelievable but walking into a room it just looks like a cop on a shelf, unless your a collector the detail could easily be missed. To my mind this Whipash design is very striking and thats pretty much what draws me. I actually don't have any IM figs but this one I just like a lot...
I dunno, its just different things for different people I guess, which is what makes things interesting
