Clash of the titans remake

Any interest I had in this movie just died when I heard Hades was being made the bad guy and the Kraken was his son.
I'm sick of these moronic film writers making Hades a villain. Hades even helped Perseus in the original myth by giving him the invisibility helmet, something that was respected in the original film, now he's the F%#@n' bad guy.

In the old movie Athena gives Perseus the Helmet.
You are right though Hades is not really evil, but Kali (Indiana Jones and TOD) is not really evil either. Hollywood just makes them take the role of the Devil for convenience.
As for the Kraken, it would have made more sense if Poseidon had created him.
I'm going to give this a chance, as it still looks good

Monsters as the offspring of gods has always been part of the myths. Hades has that underworld vibe going on, so of course he's going to be the villain.
