What are the the silver markings on the top of the throne? Are those blaster marks? Sorry for the newbie question...

I'm sure at some point, some EU story or some book has given some explanation to them, but as far as being on screen, it's just random bits to give the chair more detail, you don't see them serve a purpose, but they're not blaster marks.

Seeing that one comes out 2nd Q and one 3rd Q I am guessing not. But you can probably ask them to hold the Emperor and ship them together.

I would think they'll time it so they both go out together, but it wouldn't be surprising if for some reason one was done before the other other.

Jabba and his Throne arrived same time, so hopefully that'll be the case with this, as that was a similar case where the throne and he were separate items and not an Ex. like Thrawn.

Thanks for the explanation Maulfan. I might just get the emperor first and hold off on the chair and maybe buy it from someone on the classifieds. $140 or so is a lot for a chair when I can get another figure from SS or HT for nearly that price.

i too feel too much to fork out for a chair....i wonder why the chair is more expensive, its not like they have to pay licence to the chair....
