Key word....few. I have no problem with Rosie though there's probably 40 or 50 statues I'd rather see first. :dunno
If I personally know of a few that must mean there are more, don't ya think? :D

Just because it's not at the top of *your* list doesn't mean much. I'm a non PF, Baddie collector. I have to sit through dozens of announcements that don't appeal to me.

Let the Rosie lovers dream, is all I'm sayin'.

You're right, I don't think SS particularly cares what's on my list. Truth be told, if/when they make a Rosie statue...if it looks like Rosie, I'll buy it! :D

Since Sideshow is obviously making Boromir in Gondorian armor in the new line, does that mean we will get fellowship Boromir as a PF? With luck it will fall between GTG and the Ringwraith and make 2010 a year to remember.

Sound in theory....which pretty well guarantee's it's demise. Following a script isn't always SS's strong suit. :(

Although am very happy to hear they are doing a 1/6 scale maquette line and from what I'm seeing so far they're doing a great job, but I can't help wondering if they're gonna be making any baddies too? because from what I am seeing now they are mostly giving importance to the goood guys only not that I dislike like them but still ... show some love to the baddies.

SS has described this line as very expansive, which no doubt means it will include plenty of bad guys. Just because we have only seen conceptual art of good guys doesn't mean that is all we will get, nor does it even mean the 1st 6 maquettes will be good guys only.

I've mentioned this before in prior posts on other threads, but Sideshow answered one of my questions in their Ask Sideshow segments and confirmed that Boromir was in development. I was hoping for a Boromir in Gondorian Armor PF, but since SS has released conceptual art of a Boromir in Gondorian Armor maquette, I guess tha means we;re getting a Boromir in Fellowship attire PF. Woe is me (sarcastically).

Fellowship Boromir SCREAMS to be made in PF! It would be a real chance of greatness missed if SS doesn't do one! :pow

Well, if we follow SS's habit of doing characters in three different mediums all in the same short time period, and we have a Boromir LSB and a PF on the way, can a Dio be far behind? I would like to see him standing with sword and horn in hand facing down the Uruk's.

Yeah, I remember that Q&A. Mind you, they said the same thing about the Ringwraith PF...how's that working for us? To me, it's not a case of if, but when?. We could get a fellowship Boromir PF in the next 3 month's or the next 3 year's....who knows :dunno

No kidding, and while the majority of the Fellowship are depicted in Moria; I would like Boromir to match Aragorn from Amon Hen - and of course to go with Lurtz. :naughty

That might too closely resemble the LSB. I'd prefer this one :

I would rather see him laid out in his funeral boat with Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas standing along side than have Lurtz standing over him in triumph. To each his own though.

True enough. I'm just not sure how well a dead Boromir dio. would go over.........

True, but I'm hoping that Boromoir is one of the "several" (Sideshow's own words) LOTR PFs scheduled to be released in 2010. To Sidehow's credit though, they did come out in a later Q&A and essentially said the Ringwraith PF was proving to be more challenging design wise than anticipated. All I know is that with Legolas in hand and Gandalf the Grey pre-ordered, I'm salivating for the next LOTR PF reveal...

I haven't forgotten about SS's use of the word "several" either. We are starting to run out of time though.........

This is true. With Gandalf the Grey slated for 3rd Quarter 2010, I think we will only get one more in 2010. I guess you were correct in Sideshow's usage of the word "released" meaning "shipped". Legolas 1st Quarter 2010, Gandalf the Grey 3rd Quarter 2010...room for one more 4th Quarter 2010.
