T1 - is a kick ass movie

T2 - one of the best sequels that gave the fans what they wanted.

T3 - good, not great. At least is has Arnold.

T4 - nice FX, Meh story, too much yelling by Connor.

TSCC - garbage

TSCC - garbage

yeah, but it tries to stay true to the terminator lore... and has managed to extend it in some interesting ways in terms of subplots. it's just the overall execution that's appalling...

i found the ending of season 2 very very interesting. it's just too bad they made us go through so much nonsense just to get to that point.

Season 2 was starting to get pretty good. Sometimes a show need time to find their rhythm and SCC was finding it. It was too bad they didn't get a chance to keep going. It was better than T3 thats for sure.

When I was younger I loved T2 better, but now, T1 is a bit more ahead of it :)

Besides, T1 had the bare Endoskeleton in the "present time" :D While T2 showed only bits and parts.
And somehow, I like evil Terminators better, T-800 in first movie was awesome, better then in second movie, and T-1000....damn that Robert Patrick nailed it's personality!

While T2 is a great movie with spectacular action sequences and solid story, but it isn't as good as the first movie. First of all, look at the Terminator itself. In the first one, he moves and talks like how a machine would: that way he had this menacing aura about him or it.

In T2, there was way too much talking and the way he acted hardly looked like he was a machine underneath, just some guy with an attitude. Granted Terminators are suppose to act more human like, but I found the first Terminator movie to capture it well with perfect balance between man and a machine.

The first movie had much more of an effect in terms of story telling, you really felt what Reese had been through and why Skynet had to be stopped, in the second one you didn't get that feeling even with that Nuclear Nightmare sequence. Also, the makeup effects were a lot better in the first movie than in the second, referring to Arnold's makeup only.

Lastly, and this is just a personal wishful thinking, T2 didn't had a longer Future scene where we could have seen much more such as the invasion of Skynet and how the Resistance sent back the Terminator or Reese. That would have been conclusive in a way. Plus, as Toni said, T1 had a bare Endoskeleton.

T1.Its a better film in every way for me. Its darker, grittier and has much more emotion.

T2, while awesome, is really just a summer blockbuster. A great sequel, but a totally different attitude than T1, more user friendly.

That sums it up for me... T1 is a classic. Even though its lower budget it still packs one hell of a punch and is incredibly exciting and suspenseful.

T2 is cool, but more stuff blowing up just for effect... not to mention the Terminator that doesn't terminate :rolleyes Still a great movie... don't get me wrong, but doesn't hold a candle to the original.

T2 all the way for me. It's always been my favourite film. I grew up knowing it as the only terminator film, then as i've got older i've obviously discovered T1 etc.

T1 is awesome but I just love T2, for a load of reasons which I probabaly couldn't put into words. If I was good with words i'd be bigger than WHsmith.

Well T-1 was the first of the movies, that I would've picked but I'm looking at the times, I'm meaning the feel of the movie. My number one pick would be TERMINATOR SALVATION: the acting, special effects, and the storyline was great. The most important thing in watching movies Sideshow Freaks." Would be the possible believability of the movie happening. This is what makes a great movie, not being star struck or gripping the actor of the movie.:

I love T2, it got awesome Scenes that will never be erased from my memory, but T1 is kinda cooler, cause Arnie just does what a terminator does and it´s shown.
T3 sucks balls even with Arnie, but the jokes...oh my god.
T4 is way better, cause of Marcus Wright, awesome new Character.

You got that right i'd never watch T3 again. :monkey4 :monkey4

I totally understand where you're coming from.

I'd have to put Salvation as my number 2 choice, but real close to my number one (T2).

It was a great movie and the effects were fantastic.

T1 is good, but just hasn't stood the test of time for me.

I'm curious, do those that voted for T2 also prefer movie remakes over classic originals because of new technology? Also curious as to the age of people that prefer T2 over T1? I wonder if there's a trend? I'm not saying either choice is wrong, I'm just curious. I like stats.

I voted T1. T2 is great but I always thought that the whole T-1000 liquid metal thing (as cool as it was visually) even for science fiction was a bit far fetched. T1 is awesome for the simple fact that you get Arnold as the T-800 doing what it does best........Terminating!
