Here we go again. Not more than a week after having to send my 1:1 Angel of Death bust back for a refund, I'm in trouble again.
Today I spent a good hour looking over all my recent Sideshow items, only to find a similar paint issue on my Alien Queen Diorama. The affected area on the back spine features extremely dry paint, that cracked and rubbed right off when I touched it. As of right now, the damage is nowhere near as bad as that of the AOD bust, but is still upsetting and totally unacceptible for a four hundred dollar statue.

Guess I'll have to decide what to do with this statue as well. I suppose repainting the section isn't out of the quetion, but how will I know if more areas will follow suite with this same problem or not.

I hate to say it, but I am very displeased with Sideshow's products at this point.

Just got home and checked my Queen. I'm glad to say she looks fine, for now, with no flaking. Damn, I love her too! It's not right to love an object like that, but I do. She is awesome.

However, this flaking issue has me quite concerned about my habit of buying Sideshow stuff. :(

Not really.

Out of the whole ES, that was an anomaly. I have a set and save for smoker's teeth, both look fine. The sweatshop painter chained to the assembly line's paint table who got that particular headsculpt to paint the eyes on probably needs glasses:

I used to collect SS 1/6 figures and being honest with no exaggeration, 75% of them had some degree of lazy eyes, and some even worse than that han. If there was a way to see how many returns a person went through via their sideshow account, i would be happy to show you all.
