I went on the wait list for this....then canceled it the next day. The more I look at the pics of this thing...the more it looks like hes about to sneeze. The face sculpt is a no go for me.....and the turtle neck thing hes got going on is just weird. Oh, and the base is boaring as hell..........I think this should be priced between $80-$130 as is. Just my opinion....:monkey3

The rocketeer is looking pretty good right about now...

This does seem like an odd piece... some parts are good, but the whole just looks odd. I think its partly the pose and the expression does look weird.

But I voted "don't care" as I have zero interest in the piece :lol

The problem I feel is in the neck, it seems too long and too far foward. The M-60 is too thin and maybe if the hair was wet instead of the blow dried look it would make the head look more proportioned.

I actually just checked out the video that SS posted with the figure and I have to admit, it changed my opinion on the piece. It actually looks pretty good to me.

I think for me the pictures were a huge let down, but seeing the video changed my mind.

Nah, still not buying this thing if the final sculpt comes out looking like that. In 2009/2010 a $300 Rambo statue should look much more like Sylvester Stallone than that thing.

You`re right! In the video he looks really better than on the photos! I´ve ordered the Ex. and now I can`t wait for it:banana

Gotta change the face/likeness, at the very least.

Not a horrible effort, but far from Sideshow' capabilities. Overall, I'm disappointed... but I hope for some improvements before it ships.

I would imagine that the particular facial expression they're going for is hard to replicate........ I would also like to add the the muscular definition on the figure looks "smooth" and not RIPPED. I recall Rambo being JACKED and pretty muscular. The PF didn't really seem to portray that too well, as well as the facial expression.

A good effort, but I think some improvements are needed

In Rambo III (Build exactly the same as part II) there is a scene near the end where Rambo and Trautman are somewhat hiding from the Russians. If you look closely Stallone is the exact same width (Shoulder spread) as Trautman. He's not a big, wide or bulky guy.

Everything is appropriate with this piece minus the eye expression and weak paint.

Looked much better in the Backstage Pass and 360 QTVR. Eased my fears a bit. I'm sure it will turn out fine and will be a nice collection to the "movie" side of my room.

If you go on the 360 QTVR, it says "PROTOTYPE". This stamp was neither on the pictures or the backstage pass.
Could changes now be in the works, I sure hope so. Keeping my fingers crossed for an improved head sculpt.
