Ya, Im not really excited about SW much at all these days, for several reasons, mainly the Joe line is so kick ass, and SS hasnt dropped anything for me to say "cant wait for that", clone after clone is just boring.. plus the con had nothing im interested in so SW has taken a back seat. Its going to take another Jabba type to get me fired up again.

I'm waiting for Royal Guards, Tusken Raiders, Snowtroopers, Tie Fighter pilots,
AT-AT Drivers, a decent Leia (preferably Bespin), Droids and Chewie... and Greedo!

...which should come as no surprise because they said last year that 2009 would focus mainly on armored figs. Based on that though, save for the ST Commander, all of the rest of the releases to date for '09 have been PT and OT. I don't understand your point.
Do have to agree that SideShow did say before hand that this year is mostly about armoured figures, I felt the limited variety from PT and OT offerings is the reason fellow freaks here are voicing out about lacking enthusiasm. The Gamorrean Guard did got some of us excited again. Do hope to see more Droids and Aliens to mix things up a bit before the year ends.
I hope we won't have to wait for Spooktacular to see the next figure.
But I also hope the next figure isn't just a red-stripe stormtrooper or something like that.
If it's another trooper, then let it be SNOWTROOPER or BIKER SCOUT.

There won't be anymore figure announcements for this year . For 4th Q is already Lando , Shock Trooper and Thrwan with the Sandtrooper due next month.
I do like your figure choices though!

I think the selection of new SW fig announcements from SDCC just sucked. I'm sure some would totally disagree but to me they were unspectacular. Gimme cantina denizens!!! San People!! Tie fighter pilots! Etc....
