Had a blast today, but MAN Hollywood has taken over the con. It was SO crowded and why the heck does BBC American need a booth? And how many zombie/horror/goth/whore booths does the con need; Zombie-Goth Yoga videos? No, seriously. Ok, rant off. Let's start with some fun pictures:

I spent several hours trying to find Jim Lee and J. Scott Campbell (for BC) to no avail, but I DID have the pleasure of meeting Rob Liefield, Eric Larsen, Adam Hughes and his fiancee/girlfriend Allison (see pics), and MARK BROOKS.

I bought an X-Men Print (ES/200) and he signed it for me; I tried to no avail to get him to hook me up with a sketch. He was swamped with commissions.

Here is a picture of Allison and I talking about the latest AH! Sideshow piece; we actually had a good laugh.

My wife's $150 Lego sets that she, repeatedly, stood in line for.

The 'loot' at the end of the day; the Baroness turned out much better than I thought she would and the Marvel Super Heroes Invaders were pieces of crap that my kid is going to break in a few days.

Got this freebie JUST FOR WEARING my Subject 2009: The Collector Shirt (thanks Sideshow). This book really is quality and looks great in my hobby room.

I asked Deadpool if I could get a picture of him and my son; I was a bit nervous when he PICKED my son up, but he was laughing and talking nonstop so it was all good.

Some things that might not have been shown yet:
080.jpg

He-Man/He-Ro, whatever his name is, this thing was huge.
079.jpg

Voltron, one of the best darn cartoons ever!
078.jpg

My niece loves this show, figured someone on the boards would like to see this.

These looked really cool, especially the ‘slimed’ head

Looks like a blast indeed! That X-Men print looks AWESOME, along with the other loot! :rock :rock :rock

I think that Deadpool became a "resident celebrity" while there, over the weekend. I was watching G4 coverage yesterday, and I'm pretty sure that was the same Deadpool in one of the segments with Kevin Pereira. :lol

My wife thought this was the funniest set-up; I still don't get it, but she had a good laugh.

This was a similar setup that the had last year, but was still pretty cool to have all the people in costume.

I wasn't going to include this picture because it includes my niece and I'm not her parent, but ANYONE who attended the con had to see his nose...it was really...creepy. Think Little Mermaid Sandcastle creepy.

Venom is 1/4th scale, I took this picture just to line him up with Abom.

Glad I kept my preorder on this.

The detail and shading on this base was so realistic!

Some very nice pics, was tempted to pick up the plastic Voltron lions set last year, still might have to look back into it again.
