This has my excitement at a new level. I can't wait to get it. Hopefully it's released soon.

Not sure really, just how much it is on play.com. Which will avoid shipping or any customs costs.

May have to buy the Tumbler as a pure investment for now, until I get my own place with room to display it.

I don't think that anyone would argue which is better. However, the Tumbler will cost a considerable amount more for most people, and will be a much harder piece to display. Therefore, the Pod may be the better vehicle option for some. I think that I would rather have the Pod that I can fit in my case with the rest of my figures than the Tumbler that I have no idea where to put. That said, there is a very good chance I will still get the Tumbler. Cant wait for some in-hand photos and dimensions.

Buy the Tumbler of course!!!

I have the batpod and I dont know what to do !!! now I dont have space but in one year Im going to live in a bigger house... what a dilemma! :banghead

Concerning the interior illustrations you posted of the Tumbler, one would assume that's for the movie version only, correct?

That was published in the LA Times when "Batman Begins" was released.I found it somewhere and saved it.Its a journalists rough approximations, nothing more, just thought as well as being a nice topical illustration it would show newer members such as Edwardnygma01 the basic layout, which could be difficult to work out given the dark lighting of the film.

In the strictest terms this Tumbler is totally accurate interior-wise,since that was a seperate set.Ah,the power of the movies!!

Have nt been this excited for a 1/6 vehicle since I received a Action Man Scorpion Tank Christmas 1973!!

If you have the money get it, keep it stored until you move house.

Jesus that thing is MASSIVE!!!

...and to think some people have the nerve to call these toys. ¬_¬

I never had anything that size when I was a kid for toy vehicles. Even if there was anything remotely near as big as that, it had nowhere near the detail of that. Not even close!

OMG...I'm so happy I pre-ordered this when it was announced. I don't have the space to display it but I'll keep it in the box until i find the space :)

Yeah.. my son has a truck twice the size of that but it's basic plastic with minimal detail.

I wonder how awkward this is to handle lifting it out of the packaging/displaying. It looks quite fragile with all the aerodynamic flaps and body shell shapes etc etc. So many areas your fingers could get into, to accidentally go oops! Bruce Willis DH 4.0, was this supposed to come off?

It truly is such a beautiful high techy looking piece.

I wonder if I'll be struggling to get this into my light tent. Oh god it wont fit. It's 60cm square. Only 23 inches.

I am not really into the bat-pod for displaying purposes because I do not want to have 2 TDK batman. But the tumbler is awful tempting because it could be displayed by itself.
