I got a reply from Comic Con. So if I buy say Thur/Fir/Sat passes I will have to stand in the BIG AZZ line 3 times.

Are you serious? Why would they make you do that? Why can't you just register the first day? That makes no sense...

Looks like I can fly on two direct flights for $411 but I will have to drive to Baltimore. Now heres to hoping I can pay for them before they sell out.

The thing of it is, is that at Con you can ask 3 different people the same question and get 3 different answers.

I would think they'd want to ease congestion in the lines and therefore, not ask the same person to stand in line 3 or 4 days in a row.

I bet the person that answered you really doesn't know the truth.
Someone else should ask and I bet there's a different answer!

I am still in my Lucky Streak!!!!.....Booked a hotel 7 Blocks for the Convention Center:chew.......$157 A night!!!!!.....Ant it took me 15Min............

Bristol Hotel

8:58 AM PST- The atomic clock was 2 mins. fast so I was trying to get in at what my computer said was 8:58 -

9:02:56 AM - Finally got the "waiting room" page.

9:04 AM - Got the waiting room page on my iphone and started speed dialing the 877 number. Hit the speaker button, speedial, busy signal, hangup. 4 different co-workers came into my office to ask about the steady beeping.

Ask for top 4 hotel choices - I ask for Omni, Hardrock, Marriot Marina, Hilton Bayfront. They said that I'd get an email or phone call to let me know if my reservation is confirmed. Huh?

Remain online to try to get something actually confirmed.

11:10 AM - the iphone finally shows the reservation page. I select a hotel and they don't have rooms - no surprise. Click the button for available rooms - long list of hotels - none of which have rooms.
11:15 AM - Go online and reserve a room at the Hilton Bayfront with no problem (at twice the TravelPlanning price).

1:00 PM - I notice the browser page on my desktop computer has finally arrived at the reservation page.

1:55 PM - receive my reservation confirmation via email from TP....for the Sheraton in bum^^^^ nowhere.

Attention all Freaks! I think I actually have a good shot at going but I need a little help. I am probably going to pick up my plane ticket this weekend. I was able to sell my extra TV to be able to afford the plane tickets. I am flying into San Diego on the 21st around 11:00am to Noon depending on the flight.

A - I don't have a place to stay. I am potty trained and fun to be around.

B - Not sure how I am getting from and back to the airport. Are Cabs pricey? I am probably going to need to get back to the airport on Sunday the 26th around 9:00am.

Any help, advice, or negative feedback for trying to mooch is welcome!

In all seriousness I am not even really going for the Con. I know weird right? Although I do have my 4 day pass. I really just want to get to meet my fellow Freaks!
