But with Eva Mendez AND Scarlotte Johansen, how can you go so wrong???

And Paz Vega and Sarah Paulsen and the hot rookie Jewish cop Morgenstern who wears her police uniform like a stripper.

I just saw one of Sam J and Scarlett's costumes at the ARclight - the cool costumes must be elsewhere because they just had his lab jacket outfit. But I didn't realize Sam is so small. And Scarlett is teeny tiny.

The Spoofs have already begun.

Sad to hear, I will wait for DVD. :(

Personally, between SC and 300 this style is starting to get played out -- that is why I was afraid Watchmen was going this way too.

Jeez.

I guess I don't know nuthin'. :dunno
And knowing nothing about The Spirit and loving Miller's style, I liked the movie.
It was fun for my uneducated eyes to see.

So there.

Once I saw the last few trailers for this, I had a feeling it would be bad. Sad to know that it's true :(
SO like any other bad movie, I'll put it in my Netflix queue. :lol

What style? Theres only been 3 Frank Miller style movies, and Watchmen is nothing like Frank's.

I think he meant that Zack might make the movie with the same kind of style that 300 had. Sin City, The Spirit and 300 all had that painted look.. minimal sets and props, like a comic come to life.

Watchmen could have been done that way, but I think it would have been bad to do that. It's better more realistic than that.

Ummmm, let's see the superstylized slo-mo everything. Yeah, after about one film it has run it's course.

And YES the Watchman being directed by Zack Snyder could and DID/DOES look like Miller's work -- fortunately it has been confirmed that this is very much a live-action film.

Watchmen looks nothing like Miller's work. Not in the least.

That being said, the slow mo is Zack's thing. I have no problem with it because it captures a certin panel in the comic. Blake's death, Rorshach's make shift flame thrower, Dr. M's birth...ect. Its a smart way to do that, and works perfectly.

Dang its to bad this moive was a train wreck. I was hoping to see it but not after hearing all this.

I wasn't a fan of Sin City or 300, so not surprised this wasn't that great. Especially since Frank Miller had taken full creative control of this movie's direction.

Though I haven't seen it, chances are I'd like it too. I noticed alot of movies in the least favorite movie thread that people hate I enjoyed. Maybe we just don't expect too much? :dunno
