Yeah, looking forward to the Blu-Ray. I only got to see the film once, and that was in a theatre that was having audio problems.

It's funny how your point of view can change, isn't it? I'm not sure it's a good thing, but I often don't blink at spending hundreds of dollars anymore. Unfortunately I had to scale things back and this piece didn't make the cut. I have a feeling the regular at least will be available for a while, so I may get one if I can find a good deal later on.

No doubt... I remember being a bit shocked when I spent $75 for a Shogun Warriors Gaiking figure 7 years ago; now I drop double that on a regular basis

I'm not really sure, but I think it's an actual statue made of resin or some kind of polystone-like materials.

There must have been quite some cancellations for this one (the exclusive) I think. I cancelled mine about 10 days ago, but got on the wait list right away so I'd make a chance for it later should my interest rise again somehow. Strangely enough, that WL converted only 2 or 3 days later... I cancelled again. I let it go for good.

Plus a long lead time between orders opening and actual delivery (with major worldwide economic headaches thrown into the mix in between)

Given the quality of this piece, I don't anticipate many of them going homeless.
