How would you do a flying pose then?

Switch out heads/neck pieces. I don’t see why the same sleeve technique that applied to Joker’s forearms couldn’t apply here. Give people a smiling head with a craned neck for that classic flight pose and a neutral head with a standard neck piece.

These two (Superman and Kent) remind me of the really good customs from the early 2000s/2010s. You know, where they were kind of shoddy and the craftsmanship wasn’t the best but it was all we had at the time. Like, you could tell the artist put a lot of work into it, and you knew who it was, but it just wonky and weird looking.

I’m not paying $1000+ for wonky.

Going to give them the benefit of the doubt though. I do think this is like Aragorn and this is an early, proof of concept prototype. We didn’t get to see the early stages of production for the Joker. He just came out of nowhere. I do think InArt is throwing these out to the universe for us to critique them. They have a lot of potential. The “S” on the suit is already better than the heat pressed vinyl on the Hot Toys’ emblem. I have confidence in their costumes and suits, but the head and neck area needs a lot of work. Hopefully they pull an Aragorn and the next stage blows us away.

With that current base set up, it’s hard to picture them even having the classic horizontal flight pose.

You’re also more likely to damage the seams of the suit with the arms stretched out like that, this material seems less forgiving than the Cavill they’re working on. They did include the flight boots for a slight hovering feature though.

Everything about this release, aside from the headsculpt, are what I was expecting and worried about. This kind of outfit doesn't translate to this scale well. The clothes look like a doll. These underpants look like thick material, like he's wearing a diaper. The actual movie suit is almost as tight as spandex. It just doesn't work in this scale unless you change to a different type of material. I would much rather have the proportions fit right, make it not look like a barbie doll- and the tradeoff being that the texture isn't screen accurate.

Honestly I agree with what you’re saying 100% and I actually think it a a really smart way of interacting with the customer so they get the best results they want. It also makes them look so much better in our eyes too by them updating the figure continuously till we get the best result in the end even though I reckon they were going to do that regardless of us asking them or not

If anyone has seen Disney's awful Star Wars movies, it looks like a CGI Tarkin or Leia or de-aged Anakin. Just looks off.

Superman has a lifeless face for Inart. I know they will improve, but perhaps more communication would be great. Even Justin brings up the likeness.

I was just thinking about that. With all the criticism the JND Superman prototype has received, it actually looks really good now. It makes me even happier that I preordered the set.

Supes indeed needs serious work but I don’t hate this as much as first reaction.

It is growing on me now we have better photos. (Standard protocol).
