Just off the top of my head, some more popular artists who do great work generally $200 USD and under—Most are IG tags:
  • Goodluck studios (One Six figures MTO on FB)
  • fett.clone (signal-catch-5438 on Reddit for more recent 1/6 examples)
  • hyde.studio
  • lyactionfigurecustoms
  • onesixthvisage
  • mike.yuan.98096
  • gutter13.studio
  • yelim.painter

Some will definitely charge cheaper than others (like I know lycustom still hovers around the $100 mark for a full repaint as of last month) but I wouldn’t want to quote any exact pricing next to other specific names as they may have risen more recently, have increased shipping costs, and will obviously vary depending on the amount of work. I personally do not have direct experience with all of them but have had quotes and know they are both popular and regarded as reliable.

But $300+ is usually pushing the higher end of things and I don’t think that’s really the average expected cost

I'm pretty sure Yelim is one of the most expensive artists in the hobby lol

Yea, while I've never gotten a quote from them, Yelim doesn't sound like one in the $100-$200 range. I thought Yelim was more around the price of 357partment if not more.

My bad, was just some off the top of my head; double checked my messages with them and the quote was for touch ups on face and existing sculpted hair only… :drool went ahead and crossed them off my post

Folks, we’ve upgraded John’s spurs from plastic to die-cast, so hopefully there won’t be creaking issues! We’d also use it for Dutch figure.
Exciting! I bet it looks even better with diecast spurs than the plastic ones did on Arthur, and that's saying something, because they already looked great!!

Glad to read that the spurs will be metal. I know I was one of the ones who was frustrated with the fragile plastic in the Arthur figure, so I'm glad to see the problem will be addressed. Hopefully after the Sickly Arthur head, the hair/hat fit issues will be addressed on John as well.

How is Dutch coming along? It's been quite a while since we heard anything on him. Will he being going up for pre-order soon? I know the clothes were still being refined last time we had an update, but I think back then the clothes were still being refined.

Honestly just hearing that name is a good enough update for now I feel, we know hes still in the works lol

great, can you guys remake the arthur spurts and put then in the TB head sculpt or something? i really like to have arthur spurts of die-cast, i don´t use then because im afraid that they broke.

Good suggestion. I’d even pay for a spurs set if they were sold through Kit. Maybe they can sell an extra rifle or something with it to entice sales.

I wish they can redo the shirt. For me that is the only complaint about the figure. The collar doesnt look natural it stands out like a sore thumb on a really great figure

I'd instantly buy any accessory pack, especially clothing! Just showing my interest like anyone else here.
I'd second that. Some extra clothes would be cool. Maybe one of the outfits where you can dress him all in black, make him look like a true outlaw badass. lol
Something similar for Arthur would be pretty neat as well.

Talking about extra clothes in an accessory pack for John specifically, I'd love the duster, poncho, or especially the elegant suit. All super memorable outfits I feel, and the elegant suit even shows up in RDR2 during the Saint Denis robbery. They all also look good and the poncho or duster would be easy since they would just be one piece of clothing each, although the elegant suit would be a bit harder obviously. I'd totally buy an accessory pack with another outfit basically regardless of what the outfit actually is.

I agree on this as well. I would love to get John His winter western coat in an accessory pack if it doesn't wind up included when He releases. Arthur's look awesome on him no doubt

Oh my god, how did I forget about the coat? Probably the most obvious piece of clothing to add considering he's wearing it at both the start and end of RDR2, and it also looks absolutely great on him.
