Ok guys, just got my bucky from sideshow and something seems wrong with the head sculpt. His eyes look strange, left eye pupil looks funny. Like its looking to the left and not strait like the right one. Does anyone else's look like this?. Is this normal for this figure?.

Got two of these. Hard to compare...but neither have any eye issues that I can tell up close. On mine, eyes/pupil is looking VERY slightly to right, the other other has one eye VERY slightly offset. It's nothing you'd notice without magnification.

Ur pics make it look like a case for an exchange, if the effect comes off bad. This is a great fig; no need to get stuck with a &^%$ one 'coz someone at the factory was asleep at the wheel. Like one of mine, the stitching in back of the jacket was slightly off. Picked up another jacket.

E.g. it's not like HT is perfect all the time, even with a great fig.

Can't find the thread on the old Winter Soldier Bucky. I'm wondering if anyone has had any luck with repairing/covering up/preventing the flaking issue that plagues Hot Toys' cheap pleather stuff? My Winter Soldier has some very minor flakes appearing on his right arm, and I know lots of people have had theirs completely flake off. What's a good solution to keep it from getting worse, or possibly even replacing the material?

A question that works here coz looks like the latest Bucky will have plenty of pleather. Hasn't happened to me yet - but from what I've read it's literally the binder = the glue mixed with vinyl - breaking down.

I'd try sealing with any number of things - a vinyl repair kit, liquid rubber, fabric paints. Worst case I'd peel off all of it and recoat with the fake stuff of my choice. Probably some kind of fabric paint.

Gorgeous photos. Jealous.

Thanks a lot! :) Outdoor light is really showing well his details. I hate photographing inside in winter, as there is never enough natural light.

Great pics of a great fig. It's still eerie how good the sculpt is - like having a mini Stan on the shelf.

Yeah, I have noticed that lighting seems to have a big impact on the photos I like most on this forum. I think that?s why I am seldom happy with the pictures I take of my figures, late I have been taking photos of the figures on top of the desk in my office at home in the evening, therefore there is no natural light AND the overhead lighting and or lamps in there aren?t in positions that help to highlight the figures in the best way ...something I definitely have to work on. At very least I should try taking some shots in the afternoon and open the shutters and see how that looks.

Dope photo session my dude! Especially on this forgotten gem! :hi5:

Thanks a lot! :) I agree that I?ve never seen so lifelike looking figure, to the smallest detail. A fangirls dream for sure. :)

In keeping with my name, I just ordered this from Sugo Toys and it's apparently meant to be coming in June. It's my first figure so I'm pretty excited, especially seeing all the comments and reviews about how good it is. I thought I'd missed out on it but I found their listing on eBay and realised I couldn't find it on their site because it's under Bucky Barnes and not Winter Soldier, so that was a facepalm moment.

Their eBay store says they have two left but I bought it from their site to (hopefully) avoid taxes etc. I'm so glad I looked since it's a lot cheaper than I'd ever manage to get it off the 'bay.

Congratulations, it is a great figure, I’m glad you figured out a way to get your hands on one!

Congrats! Admittedly my fav MCU character, but that makes me all the MORE particular - this is a beautiful fig - IMO Shuri and Bucky were stellar HT releases from IW.

Wow, your first fig! I had had (still have) Jack Sparrows, but wasn't really collecting until the MCU - think the Cap stealth set was my first. You picked an excellent one to start with - one of HT's best sculpts; eerie really. The board and YT are good resources if u decide to invest more - I know I didn't PLAN anything and the collection mushroomed.:lol
