The exposed elbow joints on this guy have always bothered me a bit. Occasionally I've looked for some black elbow pads/sleeves to cover them up, but have never come across any that I thought would do the job. I finally fashioned a couple out of some black elastic/velcro straps. I'll still keep an eye out for something better (material is a bit too thick in my opinion), but I think they'll do the trick for the time being.

Hey Buffinator,

that looks a lot better than what I've tried. I too have been bothered by the exposed joint, so I bought these elbowpads.

These look OK at best... Maybe I'll try your method instead.

Why don't you just go to your next property market and get yourself some insulating similar to this one:

Just cut them to size and you are done. One of the easiest mods for wrestling figures. Use nail scissors and you can even add a hole to one side to make it a "two straps pad".

Sorry for lack of words. English isn't my first language, but you should get the idea. :duff

Yes, I considered that style, but didn't think they'd cover the seam adequately.

Does anyone have the VTS Axeman figure? I'm thinking his elbow pads might look OK (if they're not too long), but haven't seen them parted out anywhere.

The first Hawkeye is still my favorite Hawkeye figure, I just think that this costume was the coolest. Mine has still held up pretty good over the years.

I think this is the best tailored figure that came out of the original Avengers Lineup.
Loki gets the pick for the baddies. But I love Hawkeye’s costume. I also love that he wears this same costume for a portion of the final Sokovia battle too.

Your Falcon looks good. Do you have a jet pack on him?
I bought several of those Snake Eyes figures. The last one I altered is now a Batman figure. It’s so versatile for an armoured character.

@Last Son Of Krypton, totally agree

Thanks, yeah the Snake Eyes figures are great for building armored up characters, mine is just the normal Snake Eyes top body Armour, it doesn't have a jet pack but I'm thinking of maybe building a custom wing pack for him, or if I can find one loose that would be perfect.

Yeah. It?s a brilliant base figure.
I did buy the HT Falcon but sold it a while back. I put together a custom of him in his USAF uniform wearing his wings(I find it hard to believe his original uniform didn?t have covered arms, lol). I also replaced the original LEDs with ones of the correct colour.
What?s the helmet you have him holding? Is it the Snake Eyes head?

Cool that custom figure sounds awesome. My falcon is holding a pistol it's not a helmet . I'm also hoping they do a cool new re-design for his suit at some point in the new Falcon and the Winter Soldier series.

Yeah. They definitely will. He has to have a Cap styled suit with his wings now, surely?

Your Falcon looks great, the figure looks a lot cleaner with the long sleeved tactical top, gives it a better militarist look. Yeah they should defo give his new suit some Captain America colours that would look cool.

For a character as iconic as Falcon, I always stock up on heads and accessories, so I can make my own customs. He’s a great character. Probably my second fave next to Hawkeye.

Yeah that's always a good idea to keep extra parts for characters that you really like, especially when you can find them for sale loose.
