Nanjin's Polaris body, whenever he releases it, would probably be just right as it's too skinny for Kirk.

Yeah, I swapped Kirk onto a slightly taller Coo Model body easily and he looks fine. The fat suit makes him Shatner. Spock and McCoy are a bit taller and a bit slimmer so I'm waiting on Polaris bodies.

The keywords there are whenever he releases it. Might be a while if I had to guess. I guess it’s whatever to me. I’m not all that concerned with changing it out.

They've definitely been a long time coming.

I was lucky I didn't have to go searching for a body as I already had the Rick Grimes figure. I immediately put him on a regular narrow shoulder.

The ultra narrow shouldered Threezero seemed like it would remain unused, but it did eventually get used for a skinny Joker, and then McCoy.

Probably not the best but I wonder how something like that would be. Only $20. First result when I did a Google search for Threezero narrow body.

It's hard to judge from the photos.

The Rick Grimes body is radically narrower than the usual 'narrow shoulder'. I can't find the neck-to-neck comparison photo I took showing the difference. It would've been under my previous Freaks account, before I began dismantling it.

I found this one posted by davejames:

That’s almost a bit goofy looking. Rick Grimes has no definition because it’s the end of the world pretty much and he’s poorly nourished. I would think McCoy should have a little more definition.

On the same page I found davejames' photo, faststreets had posted this one he'd found:

McCoy on Rick Grimes posed.jpg

That looks like it could be the Rick Grimes body. After seeing that I just changed the pose on mine to something similar and it works well for McCoy's physique.

Snapped this with the tablet as the camera battery is always flat:

No luck finding the Rick Grimes body. There’s a Negan body available, but not sure how it would compare to the Rick one.

Read a review of the Negan figure from Michael Crawford. Sounds like the body is comparable to the Rick. He actually says it’s a bit improved with the torso to leg proportions. Might grab it.

Hi folks,

I?m selling my original deluxe Kirk, Spock, and the captains chair.

I bought them to support Nanjin, hoping to encourage QMx to make more TNG figures (don?t judge me!), but we all know how that went.

Feel free to let me know you?re from the forum if you make an offer, and i?ll know they?re going to a good home ;)

The body is OK as is but if I want to to commission TMP uniforms, I think I'd rather go for the skinnier body that Nanjin has teased previously. I don't know if they ate still coming. The pandemic has thrown the world into chaos.

The pandemic? I am ordering stuff to build my 1.6 scale Galileo shuttle craft interior, partly from Asia (China, Taiwan...) and the pieces are arriving, sometimes I have to wait a little longer, but who dares to complain when shipping is free or costs a mere 1 or 2 bucks?

I removed the boot from McCoy (i'm guessing the others are the same) and didn't have any difficulty. The foot itself is part of the boot and not removable. There is a standard ball socket and the usual double ball ankle peg. The socket on the leg itself is the usual type.

Thank you for this "tutorial"!

I agree with all you guys complaining about the muscular frame of Bones. I am looking forward to any recommendation concerning a slim body for Bones as I am "boldly" willing to change it.

A more muscular Bones than Kirk, a nightmare!

Ordered that Threezero Negan body off eBay last night. I hadn’t planned on a body swap but maybe I’ll give it a go.

FYI ThinkGeek has Sulu for sale in-store only for $53.97. I was able to snag one here.
Damn. Great deal. Too bad it’s online only. None in stock near me. If anyone can get me one I’d pay for your time/shipping on top of the figure cost.
