This thread had me put on the list for re-watch this weekend.
Enfys Nest. Friggin' Disney + looking for content; u could do a series.
He was one of the worst things about the movie for me. Right up there with Droid Bangin Lando, every scene with that girl droid, ruining the Falcon, Donald Glover playing Troy playing Lando, how Solo got his name, Maul being in a Han movie, Enfys Nest, that entire gang he joins. Best part was seeing Emilia Clarke on screen. Should have just cut Han and Lando from the movie and let her have her own thing.
Alden didn?t look like Han. Didn?t sound like Han. Didn?t walk like Han. Didn?t have the same mannerisms as Han. Awful awful performance. Should have just CGI?d Han like hey did Leia and Tarkin.
At least Ingruber looked more like Han and exhibited more charm and charisma on his homemade youtube video than Disney could with Alden with millions. Even played a young Ford in another movie too.
Cosplayer Bob Solo tried, but failed in everything.

I’m not aching for another movie, but I think a “Solo” series on Disney+ would be a great idea. The movie was okay, but I think most of the problems were due to disastrous behind-the-scenes production issues. The story was clunky, but they had a good cast and some decent set pieces. I have no idea about the script due to all the reshoots. I think one of the biggest problems was trying to make Han Solo a hero. He wasn’t. He was a guy trying to make his way in the galaxy, and therefore was first and foremost out for himself. He shouldn’t be a villain or a hardened criminal, but he was okay operating in the gray area. Han didn’t do a hero turn until ANH. If Disney+ gave fans a series featuring a “Han that shoots first”; gets himself a**-deep into trouble; gets his a** out of trouble by using his wits, charm, and willingness to bend the rules; is a lovable rogue with the ladies; and has fun being Han, I think fans would be on board. I’d also like to see more of Lando and Qi’ra. You could even have him being chased by Maul’s syndicate and bounty hunters, dodging imperials, and falling in with the Hutts. How great would it be to see Jabba back?

Rogue one had alot of behind the scenes issues and reshoots and look how good that turned out. Although that could have been the catalyst that caused kathleen kennedys god complex which led to her meddling in every other star wars project after that. Maybe if rogue one sucked as a result of her meddling she would have been fired a long time ago and the ST would have way better than it was. I would have easily traded rogue one for 3 good st movies, instead rogue one was the best of the bunch, and might just be the last great star wars movie to grace the silver screen. Has disney fired her yet lol??? She is batting 1-5 time for a replacement clean up hitter

As far as the Disney movies I like Rogue One and Solo. I can do with out the sequel trilogy. I do agree Kennedy meddled too much with pushing an agenda and trying to give the force a gender. Just not good storytelling. Build a story with awesome characters and let the story write itself.

I haven't listened to Rise of Skywalker more than once yet. I liked it when I listened the first time but not really any overly memorable tracks on it. I really liked Solo's and Force Awakens though.

It didn't happen in the movies but it shows that Kennedy had no idea what people wanted to see in the movies and resorted to cheap tactic promotion. I had a problem with the story not flowing from one movie to the next because of no overall plan. I never take these movies seriously and I find some good bits in the new trilogy but to me it is not in my personal canon.

Surely you are joking. The agenda is clear from Disney.
Most powerful Jedi ever? They tried to make it be Rey. Kill off all male force users? Check. Take Finn, who was teased as a Jedi, and ensure he won?t be? Check. The force is literally and only female right now.
New promotional art for the High Republic? All women.
12 episodes of the Clone Wars left? 1/3rd were dedicated to showing off two strong independent women for the sake of it. Had absolutely nothing to do with the overall arc of the show.

What was that stat about the new Star Wars commercials, like 80% or more of them only feature girls as the commercial lead?
It?s a shame that Disney had to turn Star Wars, a franchise that already featured strong beloved women characters like Ahsoka, Leia, Padme, Mara, Jaina, Satele, Daala, Asajj.... who stood on their own as badasses, and shove their agenda down the franchise throat, with the intention being not for a good story, but to push their agenda.
Shame that KK doesn?t realize that just as over saturation of male leads is bad, the same can be said about over saturation of female leads too.
It?s to the point where every single thing a white male has done in Star Wars, was deemed utterly pointless by a white brunette female. Everything.
They publish **** that says Luke blowing up the death star wasn?t important and Jyn did ?everything that mattered? Disney approved it, wasn?t just random author.
They ALWAYS make sure the female brunette ?owns? the white guys in every movie. Rey, Jyn, Qi?ra all win in the end.
You think all of this is just a coincidence?
