Movie Poster Collecting

I've bought reprints off ebay that are absolutely flawless to the untrained eye. (Trained eyes of course can spot a fake a mile away.)

I've also bought reprints that were utter crap, with print lines on them, wet ink that dried awfully.....color that faded and smeared....

It's a real crapshoot, but the price can't be beat. If it's a poster I just wanna hang up and look at I'm happy to get a fake and just enjoy it. If it's something that means something to me, I need the real deal, and sadly those end up spending their lives in a rolled up prison.

Anyways regarding your poster can you please slide the bottom of the frame just a tad bit over to the right it?s bugging the crap out of me lol

I noticed that too and was all "wtf" because the level said it was straight and then I realized that the frame *is* level with the floor and ceiling but when I put the level up against the edge of that wall I now see that it isn't 100% vertical. FML, lol.

Lol, my opinion of RO hasn't diminished in any way but TROS is just fun from beginning to end for me with such a satisfying finale. As I said shortly after TROS came out though I think that ROTJ/RO/TROS will perpetually be in a three way tie behind ESB/SW with my preference for any one of the former three being dictated largely by my mood and/or what I happen to be watching at any given time since all three films basically scratch a different itch for me.

It’s all fair game after ANH/ESB, that chess board is open for business.

In other words there are 2 movies in this franchise that will NEVER EVER be replaced from the top 2 spots so what happens after that depends on what crazy craving we are suffering from at any particular moment!

finally finished my 1977 Star Wars Original 27x41 one sheet hunt.1977 Mylar with the Original W great find.Very hard to get a good photo of it.

Also picked up the International/Coming Soon so now have all the official 27x40 DS releases for SW TROS.Except for an Int.Imax that was just too similar to the final.

sadly if you have seen my walls in past photos I officially have no place to display any of these.So I'll save some $ on framing them for now.

Much appreciated marvinmyles! Is there a place you would recommend for reprints of movie posters? I was looking at allposters.com but reviews are mixed on their reprints.

Just an update: I ordered a Batman Returns and King Kong poster from allposters.com. Quality is bad - details are soft and paper is cheap/dull looking. I will not be ordering from them again.

Nice pick up. I have to rotate all my posters as I have too many also. I am still framing some of them and I rotate them about every 3 months. Keeps the media room fresh.
