Sorry, ignore the chest piece. I made that myself. The rest is the HT one, lol.
It was more for the paint colour than anything else.

I see! I didn't notice the chest piece at first but I was thinking "Something seems different".

But to answer your question, yes! The red has changed a bit since that VII. There's a clear difference between for example, the original plastic VI and the DC VI (darker on the DC). The "new" red is pretty much the same among the more recent figures with the exception (to my eye anyway) being the V. I think it's even darker than the rest.

The original MKVII had a nice dark red colour to it. Have they changed the colour they used before?

Back in the day I got a stack of chest pieces made for the MKVII with no chest RT hole. They were vacformed in clear and you could just mask of whatever shape you wanted. That one was a quick test with a triangular RT

The problem is I don’t see any holes in the wrist gauntlets and the only place they have shown the laser pieces in use is in “pod mode”. They use them as the laser for the wrist band scanners and you can clearly see holes there. I am still puzzled but thanks for your help!

Maybe if the color and pegs are the same the laser hands from the VI will work.

I promised myself no more Iron Man figures after Mark 50. I already had the redo of Mark 43 and War Machine Mark 4 on order; then I ordered Rescue and after several hours of telling myself I do not need another Mark 7 (Already have Stealth and the white one), I pre-ordered this one. This is by far not my favorite armor, but if HT is being consistent with their recent Diecast re-releases, this will be the definitive Mark 7. Or at least it better be!

I have the exact same thinking as well. I was perfectly happy with my IM2 Mark VI and AVG Mark VII. But I ordered the DC Mark VI when it first came up, and to this day, I find the DC Mark VI to be incredible in every possible way. So I have PO this Mark VII as well because I think it may exceed my expectations again!

The VII will be amazing, the damn laziness in the stand offering may hinder it as best overall package vs the Mark VI die cast ultimately but this armor is Tony’s version of a war machine armor. The bulk weapons and capacity was made for all out assult and it shows in the load out of the accessories. I think the pod look is going to look really neat on display.

This is a flexible armor for display as it goes into Hall of Armor, OG Avengers display and a cool look as just the pod piece as quick few options. A pinnacle piece to represent MCU Phase I for Iron Man marks.

It’s gonna look veeerrry sweet next to Marks IV, V and VI.

It’s not my favourite armour, but there is the synergistic thing that goes on with collecting; gods help my wallet but these all look great together.

Except HT has given us no means od displaying the pod, so it will be useless. That **** stand won't be able to do it.
