Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

Did Endgame make 3B yet? Will it?

If it doesn't... big fail, man. BIG fail, after all the talk.

The fact that people are already talking about other movies in this thread has me worried. I mean, TLJ was crap, yet people still talk about it in its thread.

I'm sorry, I meant to discuss Endgame today, but decided to go see it for the 5th time instead. :lol

I keep noticing more things that make me chuckle, such as how everyone seems to have been on comms during the final battle. When Valkyrie on flying horseback responded to Cap's question about the van's location, I was shaking my head. I've decided to assume that Strange or Wong cast a spell auto-tuning everyone to wizard radio. :lol

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

I think everyone does assume people have permanent comms in their ears in movies these days. Actors used to at least faux touch their ear, to remind you that the impossible ear piece was there... now they don't even bother.

If they made Die Hard today, they wouldn't need the radios.

:lol

Walmart exclusive though :gah:

I’ll never find him in the wild.

Shame he doesn’t come with a broken shield but I get why Hasbro did that they had to hide any spoilers in case he made it to retail before the movie was released hence why they hid the hammer behind the shield in the packaging, smart Hasbro thanks for caring about spoilers. :rock

Hulk just makes zero sense. He went downhill since Ragnarok [emoji20]

Didn't you see his arm... Hulk does not heal in the MCU :lol

You know what kind of idiot you have to be to write an article about a movie that:

Made $357 million opening weekend
Is going to be # 1 movie at 2.8 billion after doing the impossible, beating Avatar
Will end at a 850 million domestic only 2nd movie in history to pass 800 million
Has a great cinema score
Has a great rotten tomatoes critic score
Had a great fan score

To say that it underperformed is like saying Selma Hayek and Hayley Atwell breasts have underperformed.

Yeah that much of an idiot lol

I told you guys how many pages ago that this was a box office failure :lol

Seriously I want it to be number one.. That way it will feel the backlash of being "overrated" and "undeserving" of being number 1. ;) ;)

Finally a movie worthy of being called # 1 will be there!

Moar movie minutes = less movie showtimes at theaters per day - unless the studio makes a deal with movie theater chains to keep them open later, like how some theaters were open over 24 hours just for Avengers.

Still, I didn't think 20min would make that much difference over a regular 12-hour opening time. They might squeeze in one extra session I guess.

Re: Avengers: Endgame (April 26th, 2019)

That 1 extra showing per screen x 4,700 screens makes a huge difference.

Avatar came out during a long holiday.

Avatar was released twice.

You know how all actors hope their movies will be successfull.

How many actors were in the MCU...forget the MCU how about just in EG!

Marvel is like did you want 800 million levels of success added to your resume?

No too little, how about 1 billion!

How about 1.5 billion!

Still not good enough how about 2 billion!!!

How about 2.5 billion!!!!

How about 2.8 billion, # 1 movie of all time with a 357 million opening weekend, 850 million domestic and over 20 billion in 11 years added to your resumes!

Man the next actor to play Wolverine, no pressure not at all lol
