I think people are spoiled by all the affordable Eleven sculpts that we've seen in the last two years...You can't compare the price of this one with all the cheap recasts or even all the Logan headsculpts that were made. Just check all the Vimal sculpts out there (average 70-80$) or anything else being made in short runs. I've seen sculpts go for 100$ UNPAINTED.

This is a unique character and people have been asking for a new good looking head ever since the 3Z figure came out (that Rocco head doesn't count lol). Nothing to do with hype.

Yeah I mean $60 is almost double what I paid for the preorder price of the first Logan figure, but that was a frigging bargain. If I had a . I think the real price creep is coming from the growing 1/12 market for hand painted heads. OSK is charging the same $30-35 they charged for the first Eleven Logan heads as they are all these shrunken HT heads for Mezcos/Mafex/Figuarts.

If I had the 3Z John Snow I wouldn't mind the price that much.

Guys some time ago Asmus offered an expansion hs for their Aragorn figure, that cost $40 shipped.
The specific hs was licensed and had ROOTED hair.
If the nut/eleven hs had at least rooted hair, I would definitely buy that even for $60,
but at that price with no rooted hair it's a pass for me.
The nut hs as it is, should cost between $30-$40,
they are just taking advantage that many collectors want to upgrade their Three0 crappy hs.

It's all a matter of taste, because I wouldn't pay 60$ for a factory-produced rooted hair sculpt. They always look cheap.

Asmus sells second headsculpts because they get bad feedback with the initial release (conehead Aragorn, ugly v1 hobbits, etc). That's what i call taking advantage of collectors. Just get it right the first time.

I know it's expensive, but the whole hobby is. Just check the last few Hot Toys preorder, we have to pay 350$+ for secondary characters. You either pay for it full price or hope to get it cheap in 2-3 years.

I cannot afford to pay custom work, so for my wallet if a factory hs costs $30-$40,
a rooted hs has to be more expensive so I would settle for max $60 (if done right of course).

When that happened and I asked in the relevant thread if Asmus can throw the new hs for free for owners of the figure,
I was bullied by other collectors that I am crazy to be asking this.
The same and more bullying I received years ago when KP offered their second hs for their Conan figure.
Now they are reissuing a 3rd hs and people just keep buying them.
I wont judge anyone's wallet and how they manage it but sadly if we accept to any company's practices we pave the path
to have the same future treatment from other companies as well.

That's why I don't buy a lot of HT figures, no secondary characters and most importantly when I have built a custom figure
and a new same figure comes out I don't succumb in buying it, as I 've spent time & money to built mine.
Maybe mine 's not right 100% or as well made as the new one, so if I want a major improvement I just hunt for the relevant part.
No reason for me to hunt for 100% perfection, time & money saved can be spent on another figure.

So I JUST received my two nut piz's Jon snow headsculpts. I gotta say, they look pretty damned good. I know it's a bit on the pricey side...but if you knew how much he's charging for his other HS...this is a steal.

I still very much appreciate the original sculpt from threezero...however, like some of their other figures...a repaint is kind of necessary to bring the figure to life.

Any pics? I wanna see how it looks on the figure first before pulling the trigger. Thanks

Not my pics. Will get mine on monday.

Looks good. The paint is soft ,but the details are excellent. I'm happy to have bought it. Looking forward to the eventual repaints/rehairs we're bound to see.

I just checked the tracking on mine and it's already in the states. Nice. After threezero gave me the run around with the Arya figure for two months it still took TWO weeks to arrive after they eventually decided to ship. And I still haven't received the Exclusive shirt.lol

Yeah no kidding haha, onesixthkit are awesome.

Everyone who actually bought this should be taking pictures and posting them here so the haters like me can actually see if it's good or not and try and convince ourselves to swallow that $60 pill. 1 head or 3 X-Men marvel legends, idk man idk.

I'm extremely happy with my purchase...especially since I'd just recently learned about this headsculpt few days ago.

Doodlebob7...just get it haha. You won't be disappointed man. Stop fighting it...winter has come.
