Anyone have any idea when/if BBTS or Dorkside are going to put the Jabba's Palace playset up for pre-order?

If I’m not mistaken, that is a Walmart Exclusive so it won’t be available for preorder from those vendors. You will have to preorder from Walmart when it becomes available.

As of 1.29PM GMT, my barge supposedly left to UPS facilities to be shipped to Germany. With some luck, i'll have it in hands right on time for Celebration Chicago... and in one piece.

Bit of hopefully reassuring news for Tom, Tee-kay and others in Europe expecting their pulse ebay barges... Mine came this morning in a remarkably good condition. I was expecting utter devastation but aside from a few nicks and scrapes to the shipper and unfortunatley a couple of very slightly crumpled corners to the vc box itself everything seems pretty tip-top.
Fingers crossed you will have the same luck too..

Thanks for the update k-force. Greatly appreciated. French barges have supposedly spent the week-end in Cincinnati at the UPS facilities. Hopefully, they will take off by the end of the day to their next in Germany and land in their homes by the end of the week.

But on the plus side virtually no damage except for a few little dings to the other side of the shipper.

Have you checked Yak Face is in? I've seen a few posts on a Facebook page their barge was missing it.

Hi, thanks for the advice - I checked and luckily he was there. Not the greatest condition but I won't be selling him.

I've never seen a POTF card 'in hand' before, it's pretty cool.

The Kenner logo has always been on Hasbro's Vintage Collection Cards. Might you be thinking of the Jumbo Gentle Giant figures that weren't allowed to continue using the Kenner name?

I love these figures, but the latest couple assortments seem almost impossible to find in stores. The local Wal-Mart has almost stopped carrying Star Wars toys, entirely, and when I look at stores, out of town, I seem to only find that first assortment (often with the bubbles falling off the cardbacks) .

Right on time for Celebration, my barge landed home safely a couple hours ago. Outer box wears and tears attest the trip was pretty rough but in the end no major issue with vintage packaging or barge/Yakface card.

Not a MIMB by any mean but a great condition to my standards... especially knowing it traveled half the world, twice, to reach its final destination
