Yeah, some pricey stuff, but they also do some cheap stuff. BJS is https://www.badalijewelry.com/

While they say licensed, I think it's a case of direct Tolkien estate license and not film, etc license. As such all there items don't match what's seen in the films.

Yeah, Badali has a license with saul zaentz to do middle-earth themed items but not film stuff.

Was Zaentz the one that Tolkine sold the rights to for like 10k way back when? I know he was involved in the Bakshi film way back in the 70s.

From BBTS, I POed a 6-inch Tauriel and that's it.

I can get the One Ring and maybe one of the WETA statues elsewhere. Might even go in for the GG bust.

I may use bbts later but for now ill order straight from the sources.

I think people are going to be pleased with Nobles Bilbo's Contract. It will be well worth the $40.

Ordered the Badali Arkenstone as I think it represents very well the image I have of it from the book. The film version may well be much grander, but this one has really hit the spot (for now :wink1: )
Through ordering this, I started thinking about 'book' versus 'film' items and wondered how many people will buy items based on one or the other or both?

It's curios how items can be different or created differently. Thror's map is available with Thror named on it as King under the mountain (film) and another with Thrain (book). :dunno
I'm open to all versions as well if it 'fits' :wink1:

Haven't got a separate thread for each item. Perhaps the admin can consolidate them once we get other members' contributions?

Weta's Deed of Contract Prop Replica. Daniel Reeve really did an excellent job with this. I can say that excellent craftmanship and dedication was put into this. It's quite pricey, yes, but upon seeing it, I think price is commensurate with the beauty and quality of this item. :clap Thank you Weta and Daniel Reeve! :rock

You also can't go wrong if you get Thorin's Map Parchment Art Print. It's also great! :clap The moon runes was printed on the paper with some sort of glazing so you can clearly see the moon runes if you tilt it at an angle. :wink1:

Cool Map of the Shire. I was surprised to see that it's quite a big map. It pairs up perfectly with Map of Middle Earth released previously.
