Michael Moore, that frickin' slob. why can't he choke on a ham sandwich already?

Let me guess, Moore is going to prop up Cuba/Castro on a pedestal and tell us what a role model society they are.


Maybe this congresswoman can narrate that part of the film.

Is it just me, or was anyone else born and raised to not think highly of communism, socialism, or dictators? I remember playing "war" in the woods and the imaginary enemy was always the Russians or the Nazi Socialist party. I guess the hippies have grown up and raised their kids differently and taught them to tolerate and accept loss of personal freedom. Damn communist hippies.

yeah. I'm not going to pretend I know a lot about the Cuban revolution, but I don't think it is regarded very highly. Weren't there a l9ot of Cuban refugees that came to the US upon Castro's government takeover? The man is a dictator after all.

Lots of people were. But some of them grew up and learned to think for themselves.

Not quite sure why you think socialism has anything to do with dictatorship or communism - that must be quite a shock to the rest of the Western world, to say nothing of the US military, NASA, the National Park Service, road crews, the postal service, emergency responders etc.

With today's administration, I'd agree whole-heartedly. Finally we see eye to eye on something.

I'd say he's jumped the shark but cant see him doing anything that physical.

Michael Moore = Rush Limbaugh

Both take themselves too seriously and overestimate the reach of their influence. It doesn't matter that they are on opposite sides of the political spectrum, they both hurt their party's cause.

At least Rush takes calls from people who disagree with him on his show and they usually go to the front of the line if they tell the screener in advance.
When was the last time Moore had it out with someone who disagreed with him and didnt have the option to play around with the exchange in an
editing room to make himself look better?
I do remember he went on the O'Reilly factor once and Bill ate his lunch.

They both push propaganda, don't you see? Moore does it via film, Rush does it via Talk Radio. And I love the fat jokes, but anyone want to throw some pain killer addiction jokes out there too, so this is a fair and balanced thread?

In any event Rush's viewership will probably go up the next 4 years, Moore will win yet another Oscar for this film, and we can all live happily ever after.

Shoot, rush is a moderate by today standards. Ever listen to Glen Beck or even Michael Savage? Now there's some extreme conservatism entertainment.
