I just don't think Dead Pool can be live action.... kind of the same reasons Wolverine hasn't been done justice.

Whether or not Fox ever gets around to making it I'm glad to see Reynolds still attached and seemingly very interested in it being made the way they want and not putting something out there just to get it made. I don't think it has to be a R-rated movie because it is based off a comic book. They could easily do the character justice without the R rating.
 
The thing that makes it R is the violence (which is just in written form) and cursing.

Now, you look back on the REAL Deadpool comics, the original stuff, the tone is perfect. It's dark, funny, and sometimes violent. But it's on a PG-13 level.

The only thing I'm worried about, is them cutting the character's whole personality out of the mix, and just keeping the fun stuff....forgetting that he is incredibly unstable, and can get really, really nasty.

Plus, this guy's in the script.

And it would be pretty awesome to see these two work together.
