Im looking forward to adding my touch to the Delorean as well. You wouldn't mind making a list of all the materials you buy and mods you make, would you?

For everyone not satisfied, those who are canceling or have decided not to order at all with the new info, are you holding out that they will actually produce another one or just not interested enough to get it at the price tag with the mods needed to make it screen accurate? I'm just very curious. This is such a must have for me that even with Mods I'm willing to spend the money. I look at every figure I've gotten whether it's HT or another company and i feel like nothing has ever been perfect in my world and needs something done by my hands. Sometimes it's little but other times it's a lot of mods. Just curious - not trying to fuel the already roaring fire.

I have critiqued the car by all that I've seen so far like other people, but I never actually stated I'm not getting it. You seem offended, did i break you spirit about getting this car? Don't listen to anybody, if you think it's great and want to spend $689 + shipping, then go ahead, but not everybody will be on this convoy. You just got here, don't start off on the wrong foot.

its a genuine question. You called it garbage and keep on saying it sucks so why would you get it?

And no you didn't "break my spirit" on getting this lol that's just rediculous.

But I do care. This car sets the precedence for all future HT vehicles and those issues as stated could've been addressed and corrected by HT during production. I'm glad I didn't break your spirit to get the car and I hope you love it. I'm just saying if this iconic car can't be done the way we all remember it, then what can we expect from future vehicles. They will probably be worse if people just accept anything they make and don't complain about it. That's the purpose of this forum and I know HT if they care about keeping customers will look and read about the problems we have with it already.

You're right there are things that definitely could have been improved on this car like details, including a lightning rod and the license plate to name a few but overall I don't think those things classify this version as a failure of any kind, at least to me that is.

Well here's hoping that the Part 2 car (if it is ever released) will not have the errors that this one has and ends up being the Delorean that some are hoping to get in their collections.

I tell you, if they don't pay attention to history, then they're doomed to repeat it. But, I'm pretty sure if they do make a BTTF 2 car, it will be much better cause they have to put those undercarriage lights and all those details they missed in the interior will be corrected.

I have my doubts about whether they'll release the part 2 delorean. If I was to hazard a guess i'd say it'll be the batmobile 66 all over again. I just can't see the original making enough sales to justify the production of a second model. In reality they should have never teased the second one before they put out the first as it just makes people want to hold out for the second version. They shot themselves in the foot on that one.

And if they do end up putting out the flying Delorean with features the first one should have had that'll piss people off who bought the first one and don't have the money or space for the second one.

If they don't announce the PTII one in the next few months, i'll just order another PTI version and mod that.
I'll just scale up the Aoshima mechanism for the wheels. It all works like a dream on that one.

They do that a lot with versions 2.0 or 3.0 of DC or Marvel figures. Would not be a shock. Many will still order such is the popularity of the flying car. Though as a collecter it is frustrating trying to pick just 1 figure or car to go with when months down the line a better/newer one is released. If only they can get things right first time round or give us a definitive version. Of course that concept does not work when you want to make money.

Doc and BTTF2 Delorean won't happen- I think they are done with BTTF- onto far more better selling stuff they will do

I think you're right about the BTTF2 Delorean... but I still think they might make a Doc but that possibility is fading fast. If Doc isn't announced during the time this Delorean is shipping I think there will be no Doc.

It's not looking too good for either Doc or a flying DeLorean. Let's hope there's better news, on both fronts, a year from now.

I said it was garbage and I meant the route they chose with the stickers, and I am getting this I've had it on pre order, get it together
