personally I would wait. exclusive or not this will be had for less $ down the road...unless they give him a tiny edition size.

I know a lot of XM Marvel statues have dropped in value but Star Wars is a bit more popular plus a lot of those Marvel statues are B or even C list characters. So it doesn't surprise me their prices dropped.

The last exclusive was Ghost Rider and it's prices have gone up.... So I'm not taking a chance on this one....

agree 100%. Just this week I've seen XM punisher listed for $750 (was going for >$1200) and Venom at $1250 (was going for >$2000). I even picked up Cable for a great deal a month ago. There are toooooooooooooo many statues coming out from so many companies, plus customs, so unless there's exceptional demand for a piece I expect pretty much all these statues to drop in price. also just saw the XM White Magneto already being offered for $740 in a fixed bundle with 1 other piece like she hulk, sandman or Dr strange.

the majority of high-end star wars collectors are very different than superhero collectors. Unless this has an edition size of like 300 I bet I can get it for less $ (when everything is said and done) by waiting for it to show up for sale in North America down the road.

Decided a while back that I would no longer pay high prices for a release that was not normally licensed for sale in North America. If I can find it for a fair price, then yes, otherwise I'll pass.

That's seems like a solid game-plan these days. The whole market is down right now and most pieces are going for less after release. There are only the occasional pieces that go up in price and stay there. Even Venom and Cable have come right down in price.

A lot of flippers thought XM was going to be the golden goose that laid them gold eggs but that's bitten them in the ass... Just to much product on the market now... I've been saying for over a year that the aftermarket was collapsing when it came to used statues.... Why buy an old Batman statue when 15 new Batman statues are coming out. Even companies like SS takes years to sell out a statue when it used to only take them a few months... The market is flooded with new products... Even in the trade section on this forum I see most people posting " Prices dropped " several times before they finally sell something... It's tough trying to sell a used statue... Odds are your going to lose money....

A few months? I remember the days of the Priority Pre-Order and slow internet times where things would potentially sell out in a matter of minutes! Those days seem gone forever...

Love the pose, but again, just not crazy for the paint application on these XM Star Wars pieces. From the Boba Fett, Vader/Anakin and this Luke they have a plastic look to them.

In hand XM's Boba Fett does not look like plastic. I was really impressed with it when I got it, so much so I sold off my SS PF one as the XM one looked better IMO.
