don't get why XM has such small edition sizes. I've tried to get several of their statues but can never grab one in time. they sell out so quickly and i'm not going to get scalped on the secondary market.

if they want my money they can have it but i have to have a chance of buying and that means raising the ES. more money for them too so why the hell not???

XM ES is perfect no more mass ES like ss. They keep it collectible and fun. XM please don't change. I sent you a pm.

the Es should reflect the demand of the statue. if every statue they make sells out so fast that most people can't get one then they should reevaluate things. the fact that people are willing to pay double for an XM statue on the secondary market before it's even released is proof of this. that money should be going to those that made the statue, not some loser that tries to make profit off of somebody else's talent.

i don't collect statues for the ability to resell them later for profit. i would like them to at least retain their value but other than that it's irreverent to me. i just like waking up in the morning and walking past all my favorite comic characters i loved as a kid.

Only the Marvel statues have a ES of 999 or smaller.... Since this is DC I'm sure XM is going to raise the Edition Size. But I would guess it would still be under 2000 at the most.... One reason they keep the ES low is so they can keep their Quality Control very high... The more statues they make, the more they have to inspect which means less time for new characters.... Plus if they rush it then we would start to see mistakes in their quality control.... This is probably one of the main reasons they keep the ES low.

i'm not saying they should start doing sideshow numbers here. just test the waters at first and then see what feels right. i think they could easily sell 2000 of these and it would still sell out super quick.

Too true and really that goes for any hobby. Some people don't love what they collect, they just need to collect and have something exclusive.

Or that is your opinion of the general perception around here . I do believe some people may not prefer it and others are put off by the difficulty obtaining XM due to license restriction. In my opinion after viewing the overwhelming positive reception all over Facebook, forums...the general perception is that this is greatest Batman statue ever to be created
