With SS hinting at new Indy props what do you want next? Here is my list in order of want status. I'm not including paper props.

Scale Ark of the covenant
1:1 Crystal Skull
Holy Grail
1:1 Cherubs
Sankara Stones
1:1 Knights sheild
Head piece to the Staff of Ra
Cross of Coronado
1:1 Grail tablet
Temple of Doom diamond
Voodoo doll and pin
Jade urn from TOD

How about either of these?

R2/3PO hieroglyph (the one on the wall)
R2/3PO heiroglyph (the one on the column)

I already have a grail and working on a grail diary and I have the idol coming and potentially an Urn from ToD. I think I would like a Cross of Coronado because a good fan made one is harder to come by or the grail tablet.

1:1 Crystal Skull
Holy Grail
Sankara Stones
Head piece to the Staff of Ra
Cross of Coronado
1:1 Grail tablet
Temple of Doom diamond
Nurhachi

And a Grail diary.

for a grail replica.. you just can't go wrong with one of Alan Castillo's real clay grails... they are just phenominal... I really want to see a GOOD staff of ra medaillion.... the ones that have been out are so-so... I just acquired one of Markpoon's Cross of Coronado replicas.... but I may end up selling it.. not sure if I really want this replica..

Sankara Stones
Ark
Cross of Coronado

I also wouldn't mind the Sanskrit cloth of Shiva from Temple of Doom

How much did that one cost you? It is the one made of metal? If so I might be interested.

there are some really nice fan made cloths at COW or eBay that are fairly inexpensive.

I know that custom pieces are big on this forum, but I prefer officially licensed items, even if they are slightly inaccurate. Fan-made pieces mean little to me. Just my preferences though. :)

A scale Ark is out of the question. They cost over $2500 easy just for the plating alone. The guy who plated the Ark for the Disney ride asks $5000 for one to do it right in a multi-step plating process. It's no small change, even at a decent rate. The size is what sets these apart. I can't see them charging any less than $5000 for a scale Ark and there just aren't enough collectors with that kind of money to throw around now. Sure there are some but not enough to make it worth it for Sideshow.

IF done properly I'd love to see Sideshow do a Raven Bar Headpiece and a Nurhachi Urn that works. I know some fan made pieces have the lids attached and more recent ones have no so if Sideshow were to do one it must also be functional to stand out. The polystone is just perfect for a Nurhachi Urn.

You're totally not alone. There are a lot of people who would rather have a licensed item. The only reason I get fan-made items are because many of the items I want just aren't in production on any level or the licensed items don't add up to my expectations. It all depends on what we're talking about as well. I want all my Raiders items to be absolute perfection while other brands like Star Wars or Aliens don't have such high expectations from me. With those and other franchises I let the accuracy issues slide a bit and have no problem at all with slight inaccuracies in those licensed items. But give me some Indy and do it right or I will have no choice but to get what I want from the fans, some of which are true artists and craftsmen beyond the norm.

Have you seen the Markphoon Urn on COW? That is the most accurate one I have seen so far. Has a removable top and hollow on the I inside and for only $80 shipped. It is well worth the price.

Sorry, I meant "scaled ark" either 1/4 or 1/2 scale. I don't have room for a Life sized or 1:1 Ark.

Excuse my ignorance but what is COW. I can't keep up with all these website acronyms.

Yes I have. WELL worth the money but the Azuma Nurhachi Urn was much better. Made of real jade but at a MUCH higher price tag. The Markphoon is definitely amazing for what you get, especially in that price range. I have neither so I'd be excited to see what Sideshow did with it.

Azuma one is VERY nice unfortunately I think they are harder to find now and the price is obviously more. I have a Markphoon one coming and will post some pictures when it arrives.

I would definitely be curious to see what Sideshow does but I think they will do more high profile ones first.

Headpiece to the staff of Ra! I think that and the Fertility Idol are the most iconic Indy artifacts (that aren't the finale artifacts).

Only reason i canceled my Fertility Idol is because i am ass broke.

Staff of Ra Headpiece
Cross of Coronado
Sankara Stone
Holy Grail
Grail Tablet
Nurhachi's Urn
Eye of the Peacock

It would be kind of cool to get the false Grail that kills Donovan. Not for the price that Sideshow would have to charge, though.

I think the same, I want the false grail to put with my holy grail.:naughty

It´s one of those props that need to be made. The others can be found at ebay and throught runs at Indy community forums.

There are a great potencial to create replicas from objects and documents that appears in the Indiana Jones movies but the principal things should always be those that focus the story...
Raiders----Ark of the Covenant, in second Fertility Idol and Ra medallion
Tod .------Sankara Stones, in second Eye of the peacock or Nurhachi's Urn
Last crusade----Holy Grail, in second Grail´s diary or grail tablet, Cross of coronado
Kotcs--------Crystal Skull, in second Orellana's Mask

For me, without doubt, a 1:1 replica of the Ark would be the nicest prop to have :horror

So far, I have a dream come true, my holy grail, and now I'm in the process of another, my hero prop idol.

:monkey3 Too bad I'm so lazy and have so much to me aside to do all the replicas that I would like to accomplish. But I got ahead of many props he could do, not all, at least those that most interest to me.

Sankara Stone. The one at the end of the rope bridge scene when he climbs back up, it is the same one that Indy returns to the Villagers in the end sequence. Digitally scanned in, and an exact copy made, other wise don't bother ... I mean they save this stuff in the archives for a reason (OK, for many reasons), right?

I have the Noble Collection Headpiece to the Staff of Ra and I was a little disappointed that (besides being the wrong color--red instead of amber) the crystal does not go through all the way. Instead, it's two halves of the crystal glued to each side with the brass casting of the rest of the piece in between. So basically light can't go through the crystal in case you wanted to...um...y'know... recreate the scene. :monkey3

But otherwise it's a nice looking piece.
