This thread has literally the most counter productive title of all.

Hey come talk about no movie in particular BUT SPOILERS! I can't read any posts for fear that my movie experience is ruined.

Sorry Wake, that was not my intention at all. But you don't have to go as far as calling the title counter productive, because it may have lead you to read some spoilers.

I wasn't aware that I needed to choose a particular movie to start a thread, I don't understand the negative comments either. I enjoy movies that's all, and wanted to discuss something I am passionate about. My apologies on wanting to discuss an element that makes a viewer attached to a character, scene, film etc. Here's my suggestion; GTFO of the tread and stop bashing it.

I actually thought it the title was redundant. Come talk about who died at the end of movies. But, SPOILERS ... its about who died at the end. Duh.

Then again ... somebody complained at me because I revealed who died a month ago in The Walking Dead. So maybe a redundant title is necessary for people who didn't realize that "what made people cry" might reveal something you didn't know about stuff you haven't seen.

Andy's goodbye in Toy Story 3 makes me blubber.

Rocky 1 ending--I get choked up just talking about it.

Braveheart "Freedom".

Atonement.

The Champ - I was a kid when I saw this and it made me bawl and bawl and bawl.

I tried wording the title specifically for that reason, with the word "moments". I thought it would be self-explanatory using that word. I guess some picked up on it. I guess I should choose my titles wisely next time. :monkey1

Any film not in theaters or dvd for a while no such thing as spoilers anymore in my book...spoilers for a 5,10 20 year old film?...that's crazy

Hmm.I can only shed a tear for those I can relate too...I cant relate anything to a one way Robot although he was super cool...Did you cry when Sauron died too because you felt bad for The Lord Of The Rings himself or the Emperor in SW...To each his own I guess

Why so serious?

JURASSIC PARK - "Welcome to Jurassic Park..." and then Grant sees all the Brachiosaurs in the lagoon. Those visuals plus Williams' beautiful theme still gets me overwhelmed...even two weeks ago during the 3D IMAX trailer.

SAVING PRIVATE RYAN - "Tell me I'm a good man..."

ROBOCOP - Robocop returning to the Murphy family's empty home and having flashbacks of his former life

GREEN MILE - The epilogue in which the older Paul is talking about his "punishment for letting John Coffey ride the lightning" and seeing him leave the old woman's funeral, finding Mr. Jingles, and wondering how long he has left until death.

UP - Naturally, the opening montage.

FORREST GUMP - Forrest talking to Jenny right before she died and then the following scene at her grave.

STAR WARS EPISODE III: REVENGE OF THE SITH - The closing montage the first time I saw it.

JACOB'S LADDER - The ending where his son whispers "Dad, let's go up" and you realize he's finally going to be at peace with his son.

And not movie-related, but several moments in BABYLON 5. Specifically:

1. Kosh's goodbye to Sheridan as the Shadows tear him apart (Season 3 - 'Interludes and Examinations')

2. Sheridan's attack on Z'Ha'Dum (Season 3 - 'Z'Ha'Dum')

3. The dinner toast, Sheridan's goodbye to Delenn, the destruction of Babylon 5, and the final montage (Season 5 - 'Sleeping in Light')
