Did you made any modification on this?
I received mine yesterday,it's awfull.
There's no moustache on it,his nose has a little chip of but is painted.
Or should I paint the moustache on it myself?
He looks like he is high from weet.
I contact Weta for a replacement.
So now wait for the answer.
Damn!!!!

Wise Yoda, I'd love to see pics of your statue with the flaws...

I've had terrible luck with Thorin. My Kili turned out well, even though his right eye is sliiiiightly lazy. That's a problem with all of them though. Even the prototype's eyes looked a little wonky.

I've ordered Thorin FOUR TIMES and every single one either had damage or a major flaw smack dab on the face. I'm at my wit's end.

Received my new Kili today,he looks good to me.
Weta provided a very good communication and service.
Sunday a confirm on the mail I sent friday,monday a new one was sent,and thursday they picked the bad one up at my house,then today my new Kili was delivered.
So that is a very good service to me.

I don't like to put bad pictures on the web,cause these things can happen it is hand painted.
The solved it with exelent service,so I have respect for them.
I can show you the new one.
Just uploaded them.
Every statue that I have bought straight from Weta is been in a very good painting quality.
Thorin exclusive I bought from a retailer for only 169€, I was lucky
normal price for statues are 250€ up to 275€ at retailers.
If I buy at weta it's just 199€
The eye that looks to the right side,I have seen that also in other statues.
I got a couple of jester disney mini bust.
Like alice,Triton they have the same.
