When you guys order direct from weta, are you charged a fee on your credit card because of it being international? I'm not sure if that's normal or just this credit card company.

yes. i believe it's the exchange rate difference from NZ dollars.

I don't think so, other then the usual exchange rate, unless it's hidden in the total somehow.

Having said that, mine isn't an actual credit card, it's a visa debit card, so now sure that makes a difference. Or I may just have a better deal with my bank, since I don't pay any fees or charges on anything.

Nah, it will say in the statement it being a total seperate charge. I would venture to guess its because of how the American banks work with foreign transactions.
