Man, all these pictures and stories really make me want to go back to WDW soon. Its been about 12 years now since I went.

If you plan to go,stay on property and set up your Magic Bands for the Fast passes.
If you stay on property(Disney Hotels),you can pick your passes 60 days out.
Otherwise,you can set them up 30 days out.
Probably wondering what Magic Bands are.
I would recommend going onthe WDW site and read about them,what they do and all they provide.
It is fairly new,at least to me it was when we went in December.
We are headed back in March!

Whoa, so have you guys heard about the Starbucks "You Are Here" Mugs? Specifically the Epcot one?

Apparently some bonehead approved the purple hues on the mug not realizing that they retired Monorail Purple.

I was able to get one but now I don't think i can use it! People are paying up to $300 on ebay for it!

The Magic Bands are fairly new,definitely since you were last there.
Very convenient for everything.
If you go on the website, get your reservations,you can customize your bands and they mail them to you in a very professional Disney Box.
Probably one of the reasons the prices keep increasing:eek

If you found out how much they spent on overhauling the entire system to incorporate Magic Bands, that's your answer right there.

Wow, I totally dropped the ball in WDW photos didn't I? Continuing on.. Magic Kingdom.

For me, one of the weirdest things was "it's a small world". It's such an iconic attraction at Disneyland and it was just bizarre seeing the loading zone indoors like this. I know it's done for inclement weather, which happens a lot more frequently in Florida, but it's just weird to see. The ride is also more plain, less detailed, less elaborate, and overall just smaller.

Anyone been to Epcot lately in Orlando?
I had not been there for several years.
The last time we went on Mission to Mars it was really awesome.
We just got back and now it has gotten more extreme from what I remember.
You get a card at the front,green for normal and orange for more intense.
We did the orange of course but man when it was over,I felt woozy for a while.
Been on it many times in the past but never had any issues.
Has it changed that much or am I just old?

I wouldn't know. I wimped out and went green with my kids. That made me a little dizzy. I can't imagine what the orange would have done to me.

I think we're just old. They wouldn't make a ride MORE extreme. Usually the opposite. In 2006 I rode it 3 times, including after downing a beer and had no problems. Back in December I went on it once and decided it was enough.

Splash Mountain is such a great ride.

Mission Space made me sick the first time I tried it. I think it was fairly new at the time. Also Star Tours is no longer my friend. I could handle the older version but since they added the 3d element (which made it way cooler up until I was about to hurl) I've had to pass. Made me break out in a cold sweat.
