Yeh, not one figure/2 costumes as I'd hoped, but the bright side of course is we get one body for each suit. I am in like freaking Flynn with these two!

The suit would look good on a Bruce Wayne bash.

Re: Hot Toys – MIS11 - 1/6th scale Bruce Lee Collectible Figure (In Suit)

well, I guess I now know where I can get a third body for my ETD set :)

Re: Hot Toys – MIS11 - 1/6th scale Bruce Lee Collectible Figure (In Suit)

Pass! Nice suit though. I wish they just made these 2 new BL figures into 1 cause it's just the same HS. Nonetheless, I'll still pass on this one.:pfft:

Re: Hot Toys – MIS11 - 1/6th scale Bruce Lee Collectible Figure (In Suit)

What an easy pass for me. I know Bruce Lee is an icon, with broader appeal than just people who are into the martial arts. But I want to see him in more dynamic attire, based from movies and those images that parallel his work from films.

The HT pieces are beautiful, and I know they will be tailored and sculpted beautifully. But I would rather see HT take advantage of A.Kim and the license they acquired to produce Bruce figures, by making better, more advanced versions of the Lee we all love.

Maybe they'll come eventually, but for now, those new Lee's in suit and casual gear have no interest to me.

Just change the headsculpt for a perfect Dirk Diggler bash!

but i have to pass

Re: Hot Toys – MIS11 - 1/6th scale Bruce Lee Collectible Figure (In Suit)

Shades of Carnaby Street! Wide lapels, long collar, and flared slacks! This is a time capsule! So 70s...:clap

This may be my favorite Bruce Lee headsculpt ever. Bruce, at the top of his game and on top of the world.

Re: Hot Toys – MIS11 - 1/6th scale Bruce Lee Collectible Figure (In Suit)

Not a big fan of this figure, dont like the suit that much.
But headsculpt is mind-blowing. I will see if i can get the headsculpt only and put it on my extra body of Bruce Lee.

Re: Hot Toys – MIS11 - 1/6th scale Bruce Lee Collectible Figure (In Suit)

I would hope this came one figure with both outfits.

Well, Hot Toys is a business. And I figure this move makes sense from a business perspective. BL is still a new HT commodity, and is going to sell no matter what. Releasing these non-movie looks early in the line, and doing so in a way that forces you to buy an extra figure, is a sensible move IMO. Once 10 different HT Bruce Lees are floating around, it would be harder for them to get away with this, I think.

That a great marketing strategy by HT! :exactly: That's why they're on the top! :wink1:
