Blood tears a must with the scalpel!! So yeah add one more for the trio 👍
If money grew on trees I’d source another set of yunsil HII coveralls to make filthy for the blood tears look. In total for everything pictured for both was around $1.5k.

Yeah, sounds about right. The iminime figure in my avatar pic to left cost me a pretty penny and that was 10yrs ago, so I understand your pain 😂 My VM Josey Wales cost even more….The things we do and throw all logic out the door for the search for the holy grail 😉

Let’s not even talk about what I’ve spent on custom and official Ledger Jokers, insanity. This is pennies in comparison.

Sure thing bro, I don’t see her making another run of those anytime soon. She’s extremely back logged and pretty much nailed it with these. Maybe if she goes for the slight green color, but that’ll be considered a new project instead of a rerun, which would put it at least 3 years away at the end of her project list.

I'm far too lazy to go through the oodles of pages in this thread again to see if this has been posted, but if anyone was wondering why there is a sudden break up between ToTs and Universal: here's the skinny;

https://dockets.justia.com/docket/california/cacdce/2:2023cv03537/883992
Wait so copyright infringement.. did Trick or Treat Studios not actually have the license to do these figures and other Universal items or what exactly? That seems crazy if true. Considering how many items TOTS has made that fall under Universal ownership.

The Copyright infringement is on the part of Universal. At least according to ToTS.

Trick or Treat is suing Universal. The owner is very litigious. When he got a license for Michael Myers Masks, he immediately sent cease and desist letters to indie mask makers. So he has a rep for this behavior.

ToTS owns Don Post Studios, as they went defunct and ToTS bought the molds/sculpts.

Universal used the masks from H3 without consent from ToTS.... for other projects. Without gaining permission from ToTS.

So ToTS is suing them.

This resulted in Universal pulling all licensing from them, effective end of calendar year.

ToTS cut their nose off to spite their face. They will lose considerably more money by not having Universal properties to market than they ever would've by simply letting Universal slide on the Witch, Pumpkin, and Skull masks from a niche fan fave flick.

ToTS is relatively small potatoes compared to Universal. They "jumped the shark" on this one.

**All of this is talk from other message boards that I am repeating here. I am not a legal rep or anything. This is just the internet chatter.

Interesting..

With the owner of TOTS being litigious, he surely would have seen this coming before deciding to take action. I suppose it could be a battle of egos at play on TOTS end.

Of course a company as big as Universal would cut ties with anyone suing them, revenue made from TOTS merchandise is more or less nonexistent to them.

I suppose this will also negate any chance of Universal using the HIII masks in any future film as well?
