I think this one will look good.

Pretty sure it's just a case of bad photography (not like Daenerys who looks good only when the lights are out).

and also bad hair styling I think, here I'm doing some edit on that pic regarding her hair

please be true - I don't want another sculpt that does not come close to the prototype.

Sorry to be insensitive here but the newest pic makes her look like she has Down Syndrome.

Thanks for posting this FB video review. I feel more reassured that figure will be fine and look better than the unflattering photos posted earlier.

Agreed. While it does not live up to the prototype, I'm feeling more confident about the figure after watching the review.

Is it possible the "unflattering" pictures of the sculpt were taken before the hair was stylized and proper paint apps were applied to the face?

The final product in that video looks a lot better than those earlier pictures.

I also feel more reassured after saw the video review, although today I saw another video review, and she looks bad, probably because her hair problem :(

i think one of the videos on youtube mentioned you should apply some hair product (hairspray?) after taking her out of the box to get the optimal look.

I hope mine looks good out of the box.

In the YouTube version of the posted FB video, at the beginning, the author inserts text saying that a bit of hairspray will help in setting the figure's hair closer to the prototype's style:

Also, here's another YouTube video review showing the hair nicely styled coming out of unboxing:

I am definitely keeping my pre-order open and remain optimistic about the final production piece!

She looks pretty good in that second video.

Looks like it's the same figure on those two videos, since it's from the same channel, nonetheless, must be prepare for some hair styling when the figure arrived

Can’t wait to add her to my Chinese imperial army. Been wanting to make Mu Guiying for a while. This figure fits the bill.

Damn, the people who bought this set got burned. On the in-hand actual photos and video of the shipped Lin Mae by Threezero, the head looks bloated with inferior sloppy paint work and she look like she aged another 20 years. On the videos showing the prototype, it looked very detailed, the face paint are vibrant, and she had a realistic gaze. I suspect they changed some of the material, paint, and production methods once it reached manufacturing. I'm glad I didn't preorder and would try to return this if this was what I got for my hard earned money. And Threezero are staying silent and not responding to these issues -- but they respond to everything else. BEWARE!!
