LOS ANGELES – Sony Pictures says "Michael Jackson's This Is It" has passed the $200 million mark at the box office worldwide.
The film has pulled in $61 million domestically and more than $140 million overseas. That includes $27.2 million in Japan, $14.3 million in Great Britain and $12.1 million in Germany.
Sony Pictures marketing and distribution boss Jeff Blake says the film is drawing repeat business worldwide from Jackson fans.
"This Is It" captures Jackson's final performances as he rehearsed for his aborted concert tour. The movie includes Jackson doing such hits as "Beat It," "Thriller," "Human Nature" and "Billie Jean."
Jackson died in June just weeks before his marathon of 50 concerts was to begin in London.

MICHAEL JACKSON's vocal on concert rehearsal movie THIS IS IT has been enhanced by old recordings of his songs.
The film, which features footage of the King Of Pop practising for his ill-fated comeback shows, has taken more than USD 200 million (?125 million) at the worldwide box office.
Music experts claim Jackson's strong singing is down to clever editing, with former BBC senior studio manager Andrew Rose insisting footage of the Thriller icon belting out Earth Song is fake.
He says the performance vocal has been lifted from a demo available on YouTube.com, adding: 'Throughout the film sudden changes in vocal timbre suggest the dropping in of older recordings which may have required significant digital manipulation to fit the new live backing.'
And now bosses at Sony Pictures, who produced the picture, admit they were forced to use old Jackson performances to aid the sound quality of the footage.
Spokesman Jim Kennedy says, 'In order to fulfil Michael's vision for his fans and his children... the filmmakers had to incorporate some pre-existing materials, including vocals, where the rehearsal footage audio was incomplete and/or inaudible.
'In addition, usage of master recordings (such as Earth Song) was credited in the end titles.'

I noticed that since the first time, but it's obvious in some of them,
remember, this weren't meant to be shown to the public, so only about 85% of the MJ vocals are actually live, and I'm thinking those were the ones recorded through the console... so, some of the rehearsals audio could've been lost forever...
Jam also doesn't have full live vocals, as well as They don't Care about Us, Thriller and Man in the Mirror, I think...
I don't see any problem with that... I mean, with Human Nature and I just can't stop loving you, alone, you can tell MJ was rocking voice-wise!!

She's an amazing guitarist with a lot of potential to do great things... but this disposable-pop generic crap is terrible...
I mean, she's played with Clapton, Santana, Steve Vai, Prince and Michael Jackson...!!
