Original First Post:
With Season 6 gearing up in 5 looong months I figured now would be a good time to dedicate a thread to those of us that are making LOST customs. I've seen some Locke's and Jack's in my travels on these boards so I know they're out there! So feel free to post your pics, recipes, or anything else in this thread.


Here's what I have going on. My first bash/custom is Locke. He's headless right now. Andy B's incredible sculpt has been beautifully painted by the uber-talented Small_Studios, but he's waiting on another repaint to ship him to me.



In the meantime here's the body I have going that you may have seen in the Locke head sculpt thread. I'm not digging the belt I currently have but everything else I'm quite happy with.

Knowing that Ben Linus is up next for Andy and Miketek, I've already started to get some things together. I have a Slim Truetype on pre-order and have started to piece together a pretty simple outfit. Just a pair of khakis, a long sleeve button up shirt, a satchel and a gun. (easy bash!)

Speaking of Ben, does anyone have Ada's sculpt painted up?

ANYWAYS, low and behold I got my Locke head back from Small_Studios today! Gorgeous paint Josh!

Here's some pics of my Lock bash all 'finished'. Hope you like him! My apologies for some of the not so great pics. Tried to avoid the flash if it was possible.

Locke is by far my favorite character on lost. The likeness is unbelievably uncanny, amazing work, I wish I could sculpt, but alas my talents lie in drawing. Keep up the good work.

Much anticipated thread, LOOOOOOVE the show but don't own and don't plan on owning any 1/6th customs of them (because i would NEVER be able to stop and would have to have them all ) But insanely interested to see them all. Those Lockes (and your 1 in particular) look awesome, just the best Headsculpt!

Wow thanks for all the kind words guys! This was my very first bash/custom so it was a bit of a learning experience. Nice to get a few accolades to be honest...

When you find the stuff for your Locke be sure to post some pics in here Coco!!

Just got a shipment notice for the majority of my Ben stuff so I throw some pics up when I get everything together.

Now if I could just get word on when to expect his head...

Josh did a fantastic job on the paint. You are one of the lucky ones to have him paint it, now it's on the retired list.
Could you post a recipe for the pieces you used? I'd love to know what arms you used and where did you find them?.
The exposed joints on the TrueTypes take me right out of the realism.
Great weathering too. Thanks for the info.

You know who I also think is a great character, Richard Alpert. The man displays respect for almost everyone and is a very charismatic leader of the Others when the real leader (Locke or Ben before that) isn't around. Also the non-aging fact is awesome!

Yep i agree he is great but a bit too much eyeliner.

He really did! And it's been said a million times, but the pics just don't do the paint justice. It's just unbelievable.

I'm not gonna be much help with the recipe. I bought 90% of the stuff off eBay a while ago otherwise I'd go back and look at the auctions.

So the head is obviously the Andy B sculpt painted by Small_Studios.

The body is a cheapy BBI G1. I took the hit in articulation to have not arm joints. I'm still happy with my decision.

The vest was called CIA vest from Store-Rooms.

The pants just popped up when I searched Cargo Pants and I have no idea who they're from.

T-Shirt I just had kicking around. It had a slightly baggier fit that had longer/looser sleeves that I liked. It's actually on backwards as there's a print on the front.

Boots were Sand Boots from Dragon.

Knife is from DCD Joker.

The backpack is from DiD. Took some of the straps off.


I sculpted the sheath, compass, and folding knife.

All weathered by me.

Other than that, I'm sorry that I can't be more help! I'll keep better track of my Ben.

I have a feeling Ben is going to be headless for a bit unfortunately.
Seeing the Andy B sculpt of Locke and looking at Ada's Ben.... let's just say it'll be worth the wait.
