Actually you're right. I hadn't remembered that JW got so close to surpassing Titanic's total domestic run. I bet Cameron's nervous, lol.

that is crazy- inflation and higher ticket prices will eventually dethrone the top ones

I remember when people were thinking The Phantom Menace was going to be the movie to beat Titanic at the boxoffice. LOL

Earning an additional $11 million stateside, BP is now guaranteed to end it's run at #3 all time domesitc. Ho--lee Crap. Who would have ever predicted that it would be one of only three movies to pass Titanic's combined domestic earnings?? :google

3. Titanic $659,363,944
4. Jurassic World $652,270,625
5. Black Panther $650,699,634

I doubt IW will make that much. That's crazy. I bet every studio...including Disney, is scratching their heads trying to figure out how this happened, so they can do it again. :lol

I am stunned and flabberghasted..lol
NO ONE on EARTH could have predicted this- I don't understand it. Someone needs to do a total investigation and sell it to the studios for a billion- some formula...still can't grasp it

What about TFA???????

This reminds me of when "Home Alone" became one of the Top 3 money-makers ever. Talk about timing.

I like those Home Alone films. In retrospect, I now notice things I didn't before, like the fact that the parent must have been millionaires and that the home was really a mansion. Now, I kind of root for the villains to kill the little rich bastard. :lol

I forgot as well, and for good reason.

Were always going to have that croc wearing posse that uses numbers to justify their opinions of utter tripe.
