Yup, Thulk b-slapped JL. :lol

On a interesting note, while Disney is slamming the world wide box office, WB was the first studio to the 2 billion mark domestically.

Current Box Office predictions are for The Last Jedi to make around $220 million this weekend.

Will it meet or exceed?

From what I've read, anticipation seems to be closer to Rogue One levels rather than TFA levels. Not sure if that's true, as I have heard more people talking bout this than I recall hearing about Rogue oNe.

On a side note, went to Disney store to buy my 2 year old a Chewbacca plush, only to discover thy are Sold out, and so are the Porgs.

It made $50 million last night

Wow these kind of numbers are insane- Disney got a BARGAIN getting SW rights for $4 billion

Jumanji 2 still retaining top spot :horror

Wolverine's Circus clawed his way over the sinking ship that is The Last Jedi.

Was going to see The Commuter but already saw it when it was called Non-Stop.....

Just a friendly reminder that this thread exists and there's no need to flood other threads with BO discussions. :wave

JL is a dud. Watch solo Aquamomoa out-gross it.

Also, whoever thought that The Hurricane Heist was worth a 35mil budget is prolly looking for a new job.

Black Panther is now the bested comic book movie ever.

Pacific Rim: Uprising debuted at number one this week, but is gonna be a flop!

Gringo is flopping as well which gives me a smile because for some reason AMC theaters would cram the trailer for that flick down our throats.

Crows I like the creepy dog avatar. I feel like it is looking right into my soul.

Have an adorable Doug the Pug gif to contrast the creepiness of crows' avatar.

IW might make history

Will it though? I almost wonder if it's coming *too* soon after the surprise success of BP. Will all the same people who saw BP umpteen times be immediately up for going to see IW the *same* amount of times? I think general audiences like having that year or so break between entries to build up their excitement again. Who knows, maybe it'll hit 2 billion worldwide but I can't help but wonder if it'll be a victim of BP's success.
