I like the regular 3DS Zelda one in black more...wish they would have made the XL based on that one, I'm not a fan of gold. May pick this one up though because I want an XL....but I like the red Pokemon one too.

Anyone know if and when preoreders are going up for the Zelda 3DS bundle in Canada? I'm assuming it'll be at EBgames up here... Not on either site and that flyer was for black friday which we only kinda have now up in canuck land.

I still want the transparent clear prototype 3DS XL more than this Zelda version. And still no mention of us getting the bonus music treasure box that Europe is getting. Only that would make me get this bundle.

A new Nintendo 3DS XL bundle featuring a gold-and-black colored system and download code for The Legend of Zelda: A Link between Worlds is scheduled to release Nov. 22 for $219.99, Nintendo announced today.

The new 3DS XL system is gold on one side, black on the other and features the Triforce on its exterior. The system bundle was announced in a video starring The Legend of Zelda franchise producer Eiji Aonuma, which you can check out below.

The Legend of Zelda: A Link between Worlds launches simultaneously on Nov. 22. Nintendo has recently announced a number of bundles for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS systems over the past month. Earlier in the week, the company announced a new Skylanders Swap Force Wii U bundle pack slated to arrive on Nov. 15. A Just Dance 2014 will additionally be bundled with the Wii U in Europe, while Japan is slated to receive a Monster Hunter 4-themed Nintendo 3DS on Nov. 7.

This announcement follows a recent leak in a Black Friday ad for GameStop last week. The advertisement listed the Nintendo 3DS XL Zelda-themed bundle for North American gamers. The bundle had previously only been announced for Europe.

Cool!

The treasure chest has sound too.
I wonder if it's anything like this:

Just checked the status on this limited chest thing... Looks like they aren't advertising it anymore. Anyone know if their preorders with the bonus are all gone?

That musical chest has to come out here. I don't know why Nintendo of America is so bad on special items. At least the ones I want. I read a story that Nintendo's UK Shop is selling the chest. That's all I want. The 3DS XL is ok but I want the clear version more than a Zelda version. Even though I like Zelda. Getting game specific consoles/portables is weird to me because it's not like you will only play that game on the system.

Would love to get the new system, but I don't really see a reason other then a bigger screen to upgrade the original 3ds to the xl. The old ads fits nicely into my pocket, and I would assume the 3dsxl has a bit of problems doing so.

Also I hate DLC on nintendo, cause if you lose the system you lose the game. Where on xbox if your system is stolen you can just redownload everything to the new system.

I still got some time to think it over, but I think the extra money could go towards chrstmas presents for my nephew and niece (which is better).

I really want to get this game because I haven't' touched my 3DS since the last time I played Resident Evil, but I'm concerned that they'll just release it later in the Wii U which I'd rather play it on.
