Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Thanks bro! At first I had the ST leather pants you sent me on him but changed it to jeans. I think I will change it back, it looked cooler with leather pants believe it or not.

I figure we know Bale is the new John Connor so why not have some fun! If or when I do 1984 Reese I may even use the entire Tech Com body and gear but pop Bales head and see how it looks.

Chances are John Connor at one time would have sported the Tech Com outfit so it would work. Thanks to Hot Toys we can make some cool kitbashes right now! :rock

Here's the one I'm talking about. I can't remember where I found these

I was just curious if the eye glow was a real LED or PS. This is definantly one of my favorite T1 customs I've seen. Also I don't know who is the original creator of this figure but if you happen to see this thread and have a promblem with me posting these let me know and I'll remove them ASAP.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Awesome! Hopefully they'll arrive within my estimated time frame

I think that might be Mr Hurricane's LED installation. If not please correct me.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Yep, pretty sure that's Hurricane... at the very least I know he's done that w/other figures before.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Can't wait till friday. Not only should I have enough $$$ to preorder a Hot Toys Bank Robber Joker, I should also have enough leftover for a Hero Head from Lonnie. I'm having mine cast in a transparent flesh color to it like this

No this is not the head I'm ordering but it was made by Lonnie I belive so this is just to give you an idea of the color.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Awesome......love the flesh man......

Now, anyone have a spare Saturday Toys biker set they can throw to a custom virgin? I have never built one and plan on doing the ole' T2 as my first ever.

Regards
TAZ

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Cool. So it is possible to install a LED in a Hero Head. Excellent!

What would be interesting is to get one of those battery operated crawling soldiers(1/6 scale) and convert it into the Terminator at the end of T2.The toy soldier's rifle has an LED light at the end of the rifle, this could used in the terminator's eyes when he powers up........The red light goes off when the soldier begins crawling.

Anyone want to tackle this??? .....I think it would work!

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Well the day has come and I have before you some awesome Terminator pics of my latest acquisition's. Both heads were sculpted and painted by our very own Xenoviper and I highly reccommend.

When I first PM'd Jack (Xenoviper) he told me both heads would be 100% done and in my hands in less than a month, he was dead on right! I couldn't be more happier!

First up, BD T2 T-800:

HEAD - Xenoviper
OUTFIT - Saturday Toys
BOOTS - Monkey Depot
BODY - HT's True Type

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Next up, T1 1984 Kyle Reese:

HEAD - Xenoviper
OUTFIT - Not Done but so far Col. Trautman Trench coat and Saturday Toys T-Shirt
BODY - HT's True Type

I've ordered the Nike's from Toys2 already but still need a decent shotgun and pants.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

small update for my arnies:

i made a couple of stands out of some extra medicom stands i had. cheap & simple as it gets..........print a picture on photo paper, cut trace around the stand, glue, poke a hole thru bottom and insert peg. i will admit i "borrowed" this idea from some custom stands i've seen on this very forum....:joy

since they are kind of small i figured i might try to use larger wood coasters for the next set & pick up some clear rods for the upright. and im gonna pick up some clear film to help protect the photos. got some ideas for more figures as well.

Re: Building the ultimate Terminator T-800 figure.

Barryo,

Seriously dude, you're a genious, I don't care if you aquired the idea from someone else here YOU are the man! Seriously though i've waited like 6 months to think of an idea making a custom Terminator 2 and Robocop stand.

I dunno, maybe i'm just stupid. Thanks again!
