Sam Jackson was so horribly miscast as anything other than a borderline fallen Jedi himself. Morgan Freeman would have been so much better and might have even rivaled Sir Alec himself.
 
I don't think the casting was so bad. Not every Jedi needs to be a wise old man. I think he was on par with McGregor as Obi Wan in that sense (though I think McGregor is a better actor overall).

But also, Freeman has standards. . .Jackson doesn't :lol

Remember the reused Kenner Star Wars and Super Powers for the Robin Hood figures and playsets? Always fascinated me as a kid. Good times.

Yep, I even noticed it as a kid, since I had the Super Powers Green Arrow and Robin Hood from that line.
