The red paint on his chest armor made it look like plastic. Weathering paint app needs to be more convincing.

Sorry for the delay but not very impressed with Voltron. Really bummed outnot worth the 1.2k. He feels cheap and just the battle damage application is bad, at least on mine.

This is what I was afraid of. $1200 and its still not close to the prototype. The weathering job they did is really kind of terrible. The yellow Lion looks more like my little brother took a crayon to him, trying to draw whiskers. Would probably rather they just left it off altogether.
That said, I dont see an updated classic Voltron ever being made again. This is pretty much it, and it sux that we have to settle but there you go. The sculpt is still impressive though. Situation permitting one day when Im old and gray I can have him professionally painted.

Wow that really is disappointing! The paint apps look juvenile at best from your pics. Looks like a sharpie with used on the yellow lion! I was anxious to pick this up, now I'm glad I held off. At this price point, this thing should be close to perfection in my opinion.

WTF SS?!? Some of these pics are dog $h!t. $1200 and a run of 1,000 and they still can't paint these any better?? Looking forward to the hassle of returning this p.o.s.
Great SS idiots. I only complained about the thighs but it looks like it's more than that.
Battle damage can't just be random stupid marks first of all and second why not make him not battle damaged in the first place you idiotic dumb****s.

Trust me I am very disappointed. I was really looking forward to this piece. I grew up with Voltron. I think it looks worse in person. The paint application on mine is really bad. I hope this is just an isolated case. I want to ask for a replacement but I will wait and see what others receive. Here's a pic next to a Custom Kratos for scale. Excuse the mess just moved in to a new home.
