The texture on the neck is rather distracting since the face is so smooth looking, looks like it is an Old Ben Kenobi wrinkly neck with a Young Obi Wan face.

I'm spoiled, I don't see a whole lotta EMcG here.

The eyes look amazing for a SS production piece.

Neither do I, but it's probably the best SW figure of him so far (as far as I know) so I'm probably gonna get it. Hoping maybe in the future HT makes Obi-Wan from EP3 which would go nicely with their upcoming Anakin EP3.

Definitely a huge step forward. Glad to see it. Maybe it won't be so bad waiting for Hot Toys to get their figures out. . . heck, I might not even be waiting for HT versions.

Bring on Dengar!!

wait, what?? who said that??

The plastic belt is a let down... But overall it's my part list... Gonna convert this into a Ep3 Obi.

FINALLY sideshow step up! Wow almost a knock out, THIS is what we need to see more of from SS.
If this is what we'll be receiving then ill be very happy with this purchase.
Those who say this doesn't look like Ewan, it's pretty damn close even if the hair needs to be a few shades lighter.
HT Luke wasn't photo perfect but when it comes close then the work that went into it is appreciate greatly and this Kenobi deserves some praise.

WELL DONE SIDESHOW :clap:clap:clap :fireworks

I hope this looks good with my qui-gon, i'm still wondering how the saber hand light-up feature works.
This figure will be amazing in hand, now i just need battle droids and darth maul.
C'mon SS do a new darth maul please.

If we get a new Maul, i'd rather have HT give it a try even if it's not in the cards right now.

Why? hot toys would just charge us way more. Not to mention ht's has made a whole 1 sw figure,
they clearly don't care about sw as much as suckerpunch, tron, barney ross, etc. :dunno

Well, SSC's Maul turned out pretty good. Medicom did a pretty good job on their too. I'd really like HT to tackle one and see how it fares next to those.
This being said, i know chances are slim unless the recent Disney acquisition of Lucasfilm messes with licence agreements. As long as Sideshow holds the rights, we'll be lucky if we see a HT Star Wars 12" every other year and we know what in the cards until 2016.
