I think it trumps Medicoms recent Batman. The body looks better, nicer body suit material and cloth pouches over Medis plastic blocks is a no brainer.

I do like how Medi seperated the hands from the cuffs though.

I'd be shocked if these are under $150 direct from Sideshow.

Yea I wouldn't expect these under $169.99.

Medicom is on the right track with the comic styled body. It has its flaws, but it shows that Sideshow should beef up that body if they're following comics. So tough to get an articulated comic inspired fig on point.

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

I really like my Medicom Batman, but the SSC Batman looks to be of higher quality. Higher quality won't mean as much if it doesn't look good.

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

We can actually read the prices on the labels...180$ guys

yeah..too expensive for what it is eventhough I was fricking interested in

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

damnit ! you are certainly right..

hope it won't worth that price though

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

I don't know what you guys are expecting price wise but 120$ for a figure doesn't happen nowadays sadly.

160-180$ seems the regular price for ss figure.

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

160 would be fine I guess. 180 bucks sound too expensive too me considering they are not that amazing (dont get me wrong, they are quiet fine)

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

The DCD was like $40-50, and i think this is like a $60-70 figure. But of course, SS would prolly price this at $150-190 because they know collectors would pay nevertheless.

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

:lol

Im just comparing these with the DCD 13" figures actually, since apart from the belt, paintjob, and possibly better body, they are pretty much similar.

Re: 1/6 sideshow batman figure

The only thing about this figure that really bothers me..is the fact that the stitches are on the outside of his legs.heh

They look better on the inside IMO

Most of the DC Direct 13" were release @ 10 years ago. Some longer, some no that long ago.

$40-50 wasn't retail for the DC Direct line. I found this from the SDCC in 2005.

13" Deluxe Collector Figures:

Superman 13" Deluxe Collector Figure - available November 2005 ($89.99 US)
Green Lantern 13" Deluxe Collector Figure - available March 2006 ($59.99 US)

$60-90. That was over priced, IMO. As much as I'd love them to be @ $120, I'm hoping for no more than $150. I currently have most of the DC Direct 13" line and based on theses 10 pics, Sideshow are WAY better than the DC Direct. And again, $60-90 was 8 years ago.

Having owned most of the dcd I can tell you those looks way better from what we can see.

My bad. The only DCD 13" I owned was the Batman, and the price tag on it says $49 or 59 if I remembered correctly, so I assumed most of the figures were priced similar. :lol
