Trivia: Dusty is named for Hasbro artist Ron Rudat, who did a lot of work on G.I. Joe.
Dusty's last name, according to his toy's filecard, is Tadur. However, in the G.I. Joe cartoon episodes "The Traitor (Part I)" and "The Traitor (Part II)", he's called "Rudat," which is Tadur spelled backwards.

Good thing it's not "the modern camo pattern." It looks like Desert Tigerstripe which is about as close as you're gonna get to what Dusty wears in that photo and was developed decades ago.

Yeah, this gun is not as cool looking as the Styer Aug.

If you're a bullpup fan, which I am not, the AUG is overall a nicer AR than the FAMAS.

i'm fine with a desert troop and desert officer sprinkled in somewhere. maybe they will be a 2-pack. just give them lots of weapons and i won't care. just glad we got a new joe.
